Lakeside camping, difficult sandy access

Great place right on the lake. Plenty of places for campfires, practically on the Masurian Bicycle Loop trail. You can park right by the water, but be careful because the ground may be boggy.

Current as of 22 July 2025. The road from Kamionka is less steep and more compact. A few settled groups, some apparently permanently, but there is plenty of space so nobody bothers anyone. Occasional traffic during the day, very little for this time of year. Regards.

Officially permitted to stay. Chemical toilets, waste sorting, fire pits, and clean lake water. Beware: the access road is sandy, and if you stop with a camper you may have problems. When leaving, my girlfriend rode ahead and confirmed by phone that the way was clear, so I managed to get out. Otherwise, a great place.

Great place surrounded by nature. Beach, forest, and a place for a campfire. The local people are very friendly and helpful. It gets busy on weekends because it is very popular with locals. Toilets nearby.

Wild campsite, with many locals in tents and caravans. It is actually a beautiful place, but we drove on because we felt like intruders. Many mosquitoes and unmown grass.

A paradise for self-sufficient campers. Even in rainy weather, the surface is firm (half earth, half sand), with very few passers-by in October. Nice walk around the area. Very quiet and relaxing. The water is crystal clear (a water-collection point for locals). We stayed for three days—excellent! Be aware: no toilets or rubbish bins outside the season.

A place away from the village, surrounded by forest. In season it may be a fairly popular swimming area. The lake water is very clear and remains shallow for quite a long way. Excellent, peaceful place with a beautiful view. A toilet and rubbish bins are available.

Quiet place, but difficult access for larger vehicles. In rainy weather, leaving may be difficult.

Excellent place. Plenty of space on the grass. There is a portable toilet and a rubbish bin. Beautiful view and a large, shallow beach. Quite a few locals during the day, even on weekdays, but it clears out in the evening. You can easily stay for several nights.

A magnificent spot for spending the night. We were alone and only saw a quad bike pass by. The sandy dirt road can be a little intimidating, but in dry weather our 7 m motorhome managed it.

Very nice place. The access road is a typical forest road, but it is passable.

Beautiful, right in the middle of the forest, with complete peace and quiet. The water is very clean.
