206 Route du Moulin Dollay, 74570, Groisy
Been here?
Shaded campsite by a mountain river, with most pitches offering electricity and water. Spots are spacious and well-situated among trees, though sanitary facilities receive mixed reports—recent visitors noted them as correct and clean, while others found them aging. No on-site restaurant; a supermarket is 800m away. High season costs €35 for a camper plus four people. Generally calm and friendly atmosphere.

Shaded pitches, right next to a beautiful mountain river. Friendly and peaceful atmosphere. Decent, clean sanitary facilities. No restaurant or food sales, but a supermarket is 800 metres away. We had a very pleasant stop.
A welcoming and peaceful campsite with plenty of shade, grass, and level pitches. €35 in high season for a camper and 4 people. The only negative point is that it has only one toilet block, which may be far from the pitch.
It is a lovely place and the owner is very friendly. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the much-praised cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. However, the pitches have many trees providing pleasant shade. The whole place feels like a park.
Simple campsite, but it has everything: hot water, dishwashing sinks, grey-water and black-water disposal, washing machine and tumble dryer, and games. Welcoming owner. Some pitches have water and electricity, while others have electricity only—very practical for a long stay when the vehicle is not moved much. €20 in low season and €25 in high season. Electricity +€5/day (I think). Excellent access to the river in summer.
What a surprise! Since everything in Annecy was full, we spontaneously ended up here. Super-friendly welcome, quiet and idyllic, and clean as well. Recommended.
Unfortunately, I cannot understand the good reviews. The location by the river is beautiful, but the sanitary facilities are neglected and dirty. Building materials were stored on the pitch assigned to us, and the supposedly nearby bakery is actually inside a supermarket 1.1 km away.
The campsite is run very warmly and without complications. A beautiful, quiet place in the countryside. We stayed there for one night while passing through. Very inexpensive; the sanitary facilities are somewhat outdated.
We stayed here for one night while passing through. The owner is very nice and the pitches are nicely laid out. The sanitary block is large, somewhat old, and could above all be cleaner and better maintained. Therefore, only 3 stars from us.
Pleasant, simple, and very clean campsite! Immaculate showers and toilets! There is no fishing spot here or further downstream, but there is a lot of current! Very quiet, surrounded by nature!
Lovely shaded campsite. It has all the necessary services. At the beginning of September, we paid €20 for a camper and two people, including electricity.
The owner is a nice older gentleman who also speaks German. It was no problem getting a spot without a reservation. However, there is not much around. We stayed here only for one night on the way.
Lovely campsite with large shaded and clear pitches with a small river alongside it through the forest, great for the dog in hot weather. €25 per night for small camper, 2 adults & dog. Facilities: 24h toilets/showers, laundry, electricity, drinking water. Very friendly owner. Only downside: our pitch was near kids’ playground, loud day & evening. Toilets are old but very clean and functional.
Very good little campsite, very friendly owner, well laid out and quiet. No swimming pool, but there is access to the river where you can cool off. Clean sanitary facilities but not modern. We highly recommend it.
We were only passing through, and the gentleman who owns this campsite managed to arrange a beautiful spot for us despite the campsite being full. The sanitary facilities are not separated by gender, and there are only a few showers and toilets. All in all, €25 per night for two people and a VW van is a perfectly normal price.
Given the very favorable reviews, we expected better. The manager is friendly and endearing. We were surprised that there was no possibility of getting food or even a bread depot. Our pitch felt more like a parking space than a real campsite. Clean showers and toilets, not separated. In our opinion, the price is a little too high for the services provided. What a shame.
Very warm welcome; the owners are attentive to all our questions. Quiet campsite, highly recommended. We had three lovely days there, and its little river is an added bonus.
Among the woods, with the river next to it. Cash only, €27 per camper and three people. The owner only speaks French, but you eventually manage to understand each other. Clean toilets.
Warm welcome, even though we had language issues it was easy to pay (cash only). Was taken to our spot. Grateful we got one in the shade as the dogs was taken in to account <3 kids love playing in the river, enjoyed the playground and the volleyball pitch. Absolutely would recommend!
Great campsite, very friendly owner, wooded and clean, excellent showers and toilets, very pleasant. We came for the rally and returned after each race—three nights, and we have to leave, but we know we will come back. A good play area for children and plenty of space to relax. Thank you. Jocelyne
Very quiet, friendly welcome, lots of greenery, clean sanitary facilities, inexpensive—perfect!
A very beautiful place in the countryside and exceptionally quiet. Friendly and uncomplicated welcome. Good to know: payment is cash only.
Beautiful place for a stopover on the way home. The nature is wonderful and the sanitary facilities are clean. We would come back anytime.
