22 Rue des Trois Ormes, 10000, Troyes
Been here?
A spacious, level parking area in a residential district, with compacted stone and some tree shade beside a grassy picnic area. It is within a 5-minute walk of the old town, bars, and restaurants, but the entrance is now height-restricted without a stated limit. Overnight noise and occasional disturbances have been reported, including late-night activity and one security incident.

Instead of going to the cinema, bear left by McDonald’s and continue. The business center closes after 6 p.m., and there is plenty of parking at the car park at the end. Nice and quiet for sure, and you see nobody, but I suggest moving to the large car park by the cinema from 8 a.m. onward. Free toilets and food at McDonald’s.
Unfortunately, the place is now height-restricted, without stating the height. The potholes seem to have been removed, however. We are 3.10 m tall and drove on.
Great place, also suitable for tall vehicles. We stayed here peacefully from Saturday to Sunday. The old town is within a five-minute walk. The ground is level; there are only potholes at the entrance.
Currently not recommended at all. The ground is full of deep potholes, and on Saturday afternoon the place is completely full. We foolishly drove in, had to struggle back out through the deepest potholes, and continued on.
WARNING: A confused man in camouflage opened our camper while we were still inside. When he saw us, he ran away with his hands raised, loudly saying, “Excusez-moi.” We left immediately.
Convenient for walking to town. Easy to find. Plenty of space. Lots of commotion late at night, as it was the weekend, so I would not describe it as peaceful, but it was quiet through the night. Good spot for an overnight stop on the way to Switzerland.
We stayed here for one night as a last-minute option and had plenty of space. There were two or three other campers, recycling points, and an easy walk into the beautiful town. However, at 10:30 p.m., a car full of clubbers parked very close to our van. They returned at 6:30 a.m. and apparently bumped into the van door. It turned out they tried to open our sliding door. Luckily, it cannot open from outside anyway!
Public parking area from which you can walk to the beautiful old town in 10 minutes. The night was very quiet, so after a successful evening we slept well here. However, there is no attractive view.
