Quiet lakeside picnic, no waste disposal

At this time of year the road is slushy with snow. It looks tidy, though.

Great place by the lake; we even stayed two nights. Round trip from Kirkenes. Plenty of space for several campers away from the road, and a dry toilet is available.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Take your rubbish with you! There are plenty of opportunities along the way to dispose of rubbish in containers or bins. We did not use the dry toilets; they looked clean. There was firewood, but unfortunately it was raining, so we did not use the fire pits.

Lots of people here but there are several good spots here so we fit in very well. Good fishing spots around the place as well as swinming spots. No waste disposal here so take your garbage with you!

As described. We did not particularly like the toilet; we are spoiled by Norway now. It looked clean, though, and did not smell. Many options for parking the vehicle reasonably level and sheltered from the wind. Complete silence at night.

Back here six years later, same impression: pretty, peaceful spot, not always level, with other possibilities and little corners nearby, and easy access for all types of vehicles. But I would have removed three of the four stars because of the abundance of mosquitoes! So let’s assume it is not always like this...

Space for 5–6 large motorhomes. Road audible but not bothersome. Fine for one night.

A wonderful place. A “secret tip.” Quiet, clean, fire pit with wood, and a dry toilet. And free!

Really nice and quiet place! Has got a dry toilet, covert seating area and a few fire spots. Plenty of room for camping overnight.
