Wide beach, soft sand access

We had a terrible night's sleep. Two vans were playing loud music until 2 a.m. There were huge numbers of mosquitoes, so bring spray. The police woke us at midnight, shining flashlights into our car and asking what we were doing there.

Right on the beach, with partly very soft sand and a risk of getting stuck. There are several dogs nearby; one is very persistent and can hardly be chased away. If you have a dog that reacts sensitively to this, I advise against this spot.

Super beautiful, wide beach, almost empty in the evening, at night, and in the morning. Be careful: access via the northernmost road is currently impossible because it is closed; further south there is no problem.

We stopped on the way from Theth to Tirana, amazing sunset, easy to drive on the sand if you stay on the track. A little bit of trash.

Quiet beach, and right next to it there is an excellent restaurant with a very helpful owner who prepared us a great dinner even though nobody else was there.

Beautiful place to sleep. I would be careful driving onto the sand so you do not get stuck. There is a bit of rubbish, but that is almost everywhere in Albania. Dogs bothered us here in the evening. There are also some mosquitoes and wasps during the day.

Spot on the beach. Quiet at night, with cars passing from time to time during the day. Moderate rubbish. The access road toward Poseidon Bar is very wide and a good gravel road. On the beach, keeping to the right on the track, you can definitely get through without getting stuck.

We stayed here in September 2024 and were the only ones. We stopped for lunch, but it is also suitable for sleeping. Huge beach. A little dirt and friendly stray dogs.

Parking directly on the beach with fine black sand. In my opinion, no off-road vehicle is needed; it is perfectly fine with a van. Draft beer from a frozen mug at the nearest pub tasted excellent, and the food was fine too. At the end of August there were almost no people. The shower is freely accessible but offers no privacy at all. Long may this remain... 0 €/night, 2 people.

We got stuck—stay on the firm sand if you do not have a 4x4. The police pulled us out. There are public showers and supermarkets nearby with a fresh-water tank and dump point.

Excellent sleeping spot. It is right on the beach, so swimming is great. Around 8 p.m. everyone left and we were almost alone. Showers are available on the beach. The only downside is mosquitoes, but they were manageable. Bring repellent if you plan to sit outside in the evening. The road from the sand is firm, so you do not need to worry.

Great place! Quiet, peaceful night, few people! Apart from us, there was only one camper, and the public beach was almost empty too. Big waves in the evening, so it was great fun! We recommend it!

We spent a quiet night sleeping in the car. The beach is very spacious and pleasant. There are several parking spaces. The only problem is that there are some stray dogs, but they did not bother us much and kept a reasonable distance.

Unfortunately, I cannot understand the positive reviews. The beach is full of rubbish left behind by various families in the evening. Bottles and bags everywhere. We ate a pizza and drove on, contrary to our plan.

We spent an afternoon here on the beach, a beautiful location. Nice beach, with a lovely little bar over the water. Some places where ordinary cars park are difficult to reach with a Fiat Ducato. Despite having all-terrain tires, we got stuck on the beach. Thanks to a friendly local with a 4x4, we were able to continue. We did not sleep here, but we certainly would!

Wonderful place! Wide beach with many possibilities for parking your camper. Plenty of hard-sand spots that are easy to drive across. There are some stray dogs, but they are friendly and love affection and food. Getting up and swimming in the sea immediately gives you an instant holiday feeling!

Good spot; at the end of May there was plenty of space and peace. It can get very windy. Any vehicle can reach it. There are beach showers, and on the right are two bars/restaurants that were already open. The owner controls the showers, turning the water on and off. The two dogs are very playful and hungry and need water and affection. They get along very well with other dogs.

We stayed here for two nights on the beach, though at a different spot 100 metres farther on. There is plenty of space and a few other campers were still along this beach. It is a relatively clean beach, with more than enough room to park the camper. Of course, it can get very windy. A few stray dogs also roam around, but they cause no trouble.

Superb, wide beach, quite clean by Albanian standards; I found and collected little rubbish on the beach. Wonderful sunset. Unfortunately, the restaurant was already closed on September 30. The beach showers are still operating. The black-and-white dog is still here and very trusting. It comes straight over for water and to beg for food :)

Very nice! About the dogs: the black-and-white spotted one is extremely anxious and skittish. For the first five days, he came by twice to scrounge some food and then left. On the sixth day, a larger young brown Great Dane mix arrived, born this spring. Don't play with him! He knows no behavioral boundaries. But he guards your camper so well that many people make a wide berth around you ^^

Great place practically right on the beach. Quiet and peaceful at night, easy access, although the road is slightly bumpy.

We were there together with other campers, but around 9:00 p.m. a man robbed us while we were in the camper. Fortunately, only a chain was stolen, but we drove on because we no longer felt safe.
