Camping Carlos III

We paid €50 per night for four people. Plenty of pitches available at this time of year. The pool is well laid out. The campsite restaurant is decent. One drawback: the small shop does not accept cards.

Overall, a well-maintained site with large, gravelled pitches. Supermarket closed and swimming pool opened on 18 May; it also looked very well maintained. The sports facilities were not yet in operation. On Sundays there is only a morning and evening bus connection to Córdoba; the last bus to the site is at 8 p.m. It stops at the campsite, €3 one way. Taxi into town €52. Very helpful receptionist.

Campsite with many very large gravel pitches. Clean sanitary facilities. In May, €29 for two people and electricity. Swimming pool, closed during this period, restaurant and small supermarket. A bus to the city leaves from the campsite entrance and takes half an hour, very convenient. Reception provides bus schedules; tickets are paid for on the bus. Near the town of La Carlota, with restaurants and bars.

They do not accept the ACSI card; they have a special spring offer. €44 for a motorhome, 2 adults + 2 children including electricity—we don't consider that a special spring offer. Swimming pool closed, and only one shower/toilet building in use. The shower is warm, but there is hardly any flow or pressure. In my opinion, it is not worth €44!!

Acceptable campsite for spending the night, which is what we did on the way to Seville. You can hear the road a lot all night. Bathrooms acceptable, and the shower has no showerhead, so the water sprays everywhere. Expensive for what it offers.

Clean campsite and pleasant staff. A little expensive for the season.

The site is adequate - very empty the week after Easter - but pricey. The road noise is constant till very late at night and very early in the morning. I paid €28.50 for 1 adult and no EHU. But bathrooms are very clean, and there’s hot water.

Very family-oriented campsite and therefore noisy on weekends. Clean facilities. Few buses to get to Córdoba.

Nice site, unfortunately all pitches are gravel. Very clean, but also very expensive. The road next to it is rather noisy at night.

We stopped for one night and will not stay longer. Facilities, showers and toilets are okay, and the pool is superb. The only, and significant, drawback is the noise: the motorway on one side and the N331 on the other. I can tell you that with temperatures around 36°C today, heat plus nighttime noise is not going to make for a good night.

Perfect campsite for one night; showers and sanitary facilities are good. Small farm for children, too bad the pool is not open in April.

The campsite is good, with spacious pitches (although without separation), clean bathrooms, a large washing-up area, playground and mini-zoo. We ate at the restaurant and did not like it (small portions and expensive for what they offer). Expensive for this time of year (children pay the same as adults): €44 per night with a promotion offered on their website. Córdoba is 25 minutes away.

Huge campsite close to the road (very noisy); impeccable facilities; restaurant on site; reasonable price (€29 per night all-inclusive for an 8 m motorhome, 2 people and 1 dog). Good for a stopover if you are not sensitive to road noise.

Three stars because of the friendly welcome and facilities. The site is directly next to the motorway and is noisy, but you have to know that. The price of €29.00 is not justified.

Large campsite with many services, especially for children, with a mini-zoo containing animals (rabbits, chickens, goats...). We liked it a lot, except for the road noise; traffic is very audible at night.

Good campsite for visiting Córdoba. Bear in mind that there is limited bus service per day to and from Córdoba. Taxi transport is an alternative.

Stones were thrown at night! The campsite has many long-term campers, so there are many teenagers around. It was very noisy at night, and shortly afterward our motorhome was pelted with fist-sized stones. The campsite operator merely shrugged it off. And all this at €46 per night in the low season, not even counting the damage to the vehicle! Never again!

We were forced to stay for a few days because of battery problems and had to use electricity. Camping prices and a quiet place; recommended if that is what you are looking for.

Campsite near Córdoba on the road to Seville, a little expensive for one night in a van: €45 (van, 2 adults, 1 child and electricity; paid €41 through Booking). Large, clean facilities. Small supermarket and restaurant; we only had a takeaway coffee. Helpful staff, lots of people but it was fairly quiet. Animals at the entrance (goats, peacock, rooster, rabbit...). A city sports court.

Very expensive!!! More than €46 in April for one van, 2 adults and 2 children with electricity... The worst thing is the regulars, who make an enormous amount of noise until after midnight—very loud television and shouting during a horror film... Wi-Fi: no comment. Positive points: -the sanitary facilities are clean and heated, which is pleasant at this time of year. -close to the motorway, but that also means the associated noise.
