Riverside parking, evening party noise

If you like crowds, noise, dirt, and a lake whose bottom you cannot see, this is your ideal place. I don't consider it safe for sleeping.

Wonderful place, the lake is magnificent. We spent the night there on a Friday; there was a party until early morning, so it was quite noisy. It is fine for one night, but I think you should avoid weekends.

You can park in the first lot without a height limit. A little noisy in the evening because we were there on a Saturday and there was a party. Recommended: toilets, bins, views over the Loire and a walking path.

Very large parking area accessible to all vehicles. Only part of it has a height restriction. Quiet place with a view of the Loire.

Large area, a leisure park, but there is no information about whether the barriers close at 6:30 p.m. If so, you could be locked in. Lots of young people coming and going. To avoid any problems, we left for Germigny-des-Prés. Guaranteed peace and quiet behind the church. Thank you to the municipality.

Pleasant place to park and go for a walk, but poorly frequented at night—very noisy.

Height restriction of 2.1 m, but you can park wonderfully in front of it. The Parc de Loire is ideal for walking. Bins available.

We parked in front of the barrier, as only vans can really pass through. The location by the lake is great, and the town center was within walking distance for us with a dog—3 km to the cathedral. However, teenagers and enthusiastic rally drivers came onto the gravel parking area until late at night.

We had a very quiet night and first took a walk around the lake in the morning, with a view of Orléans Cathedral. The toilets were open again in the morning.

Good parking area directly beside a swimming lake and recreational area. In the evening the parking spaces empty out, and you can find a place even for larger vehicles. Everything quietened down after 11 p.m., and we had a wonderful night there on Sunday evening. Orléans is 15 minutes away by bike!

The location of this parking area is shown incorrectly and is actually near the Base de Loisirs de l'Île de Charlemagne. The height restriction applies only to the square beside the parking area. Cars belonging to sports-center visitors use the parking area heavily until midnight. There are regularly groups of loitering youths. The service station is defective and completely neglected; nothing works.

Very nice place to spend the night and cycle into town in 15 minutes. Very quiet, with a beautiful view, beside the rowing club and lido. We were alone overnight and everything was fine, as already described.

Excellent at the end of October. There were plenty of spaces before the height barriers. I slept very well. If you look around a little, you can find a level spot without any chocks.

There are two parking areas: one small one accessible to all vehicles and a much larger one limited to 2.10 m. I do not recommend spending the night there. During the day, there is access to the small lake for swimming, but it is crowded and noisy.

The passage to the meadow is limited to 2.10 m. The parking area in front is heavily used by loud youths; on a Tuesday night, it was impossible to sleep before 1 a.m. The waste and water station is closed.
