Been here?
This paid overnight parking area is behind a large free parking lot, close to a beach and interesting caves. Recent visits found the area crowded and the toilets completely locked, while earlier reports also found the toilets dirty or overflowing. Electricity hookups are present, but their availability has been inconsistent. The site may be suitable for one night when usable, but current conditions require caution.

When we arrived, there were four motorhomes in total. There was probably room for a couple more, but 10 spaces, as advertised, would have been very cramped because it was extremely unclear how to park. The proximity to the beautiful seaside would have earned the site a high rating, if the toilets had not been completely locked after 7 p.m., despite the code we were given! The toilets are only accessible when the restaurant is open.Translating
The gravelpit is ’okay’ and close to the crowded beach and some really cool caves. The toilets were nasty and over floding. There was more than 10 caravans at the site and difficult to know who paid and who didn’t and who gets electricity. Okay for 1 night but wouldn’t want to stay for longer.
Motorhome place with a toilet and no other services. Next to it is a huge parking lot; we stayed there free of charge with other motorhomes.Translating
Very nice place near the beach with electricity. Cost: 170 SEK, payable with the GoMarina app.Translating
For now, the parking is free and there is even electricity. Right next to a very beautiful beach with toilets and an outdoor sink, open during the café-restaurant's opening hours. Very quiet night; I recommend this site.Translating
The site cannot be used. It appears there is a new owner who is still fully preparing the place. The kiosk/bar/restaurant is open, and the toilet can be used during opening hours. Otherwise, a lot still needs to be done here. We spent two nights in the parking lot in front of the site with several motorhomes.Translating
Excellent place, also nice and level, 100 m from the beach. There are beautiful but strenuous walks to the caves. Currently there is no gate; they are still renovating the beach kiosk. The electricity posts are still there but do not work. I do not know whether the toilets are open. There are rubbish bins, but nothing else. I did not see anything indicating where payment should be made.Translating
Unfortunately closed upon arrival. We could have saved ourselves the trip.Translating
We drove to this site the day before yesterday in perfect bathing weather and had to turn around. The main parking area was packed with beachgoers, and the motorhome area was closed off with barriers because of construction. Otherwise, it is probably a nice place.Translating
Top site on a beautiful beach! We were completely alone last night. It was very quiet. Beautiful but demanding trails through the mountains north and south of the bay. Payment via the app was not possible because the site is no longer listed. Construction work is taking place at the kiosk. Toilets unavailable. The barrier was not locked. We did not use the electricity.Translating
Beautiful place, but not cleared in winter; the entrance and site were unusable because of piles of snow. We parked beside it, with room for a maximum of one motorhome. Cars keep arriving during the night.Translating
Great, quiet site, just a few meters from Smitingens Beach. Easy payment via GoMarina works perfectly. The toilets belong to the beach and are very clean. A small dishwashing facility is available. There is a small, good snack bar on the beach. Hiking trails also start from the beach. Highly recommended.Translating
