35 Calle Toma, 37500, Ciudad Rodrigo
Been here?
Small, quiet campsite beside the river and close to Ciudad Rodrigo’s medieval old town, which is easily reached on foot. Pitches are generally grassy and shaded, with electricity, water points and clean modern toilets and showers. River swimming, a bar area and nearby picnic facilities add to the appeal. A recent price was 11.50€ for one person and a camper without electricity.

Quiet campsite, with the possibility of swimming in the river. Cool and clean. Close to the city center. Ideal for visiting the beautiful city and continuing on your journey.
We spent a wonderful night here for a very economical price.
Nice small site. Toilets and showers are excellent. You can easily walk to the old town. It was perfect for me today.
Nice small campsite with a neat toilet block. The pitches are good and shaded. Because of the trees, maneuvering is somewhat difficult.
A beautiful site with mostly shaded pitches under trees. The sanitary facilities are clean. A wonderful old town is a few minutes’ walk away. Service and disposal facilities are available. We extended our planned overnight stop by another day.
Great little site , all pitches with EHU , plenty of taps around . Lots of shade , it’s needed , riverside better IMHO Shower block lovely and clean . Small bar area by reception , World Cup was on so we joined the staff and a couple of locals watching . Good laugh. Walk up into walled town over bridge at the end of the campsite (you have to go out and round)
Perfect campsite for visiting Ciudad Rodrigo. Spacious grassy pitches, modern and clean showers and toilets; lovely receptionist, you couldn’t ask for more…
A real favorite for spending a night at this small campsite, with swimming in the river right next to it as the icing on the cake. The fortified Roman town is also full of charm and reachable on foot.
Nice campsite; you can choose your pitch in this season. New, clean sanitary facilities, with heating because the nights are still cool.
A stopover campsite where we stayed one day longer. Located directly by the river, where swimming is possible; in the adjacent park, tables and barbecue areas invite you to linger, and there is a beer garden serving freshly tapped beer for €3 per 0.5 l. If that is not enough, walk up the hill; the medieval old town still has some interesting restaurants. The site is excellent, just as described.
Very well located, plenty of shade, very friendly staff, and good prices. In short, we will definitely return.
Good facilities, close to the old town. Cheap: 1 person + camper without electricity: €11.50. Showers free; black-water disposal, but I did not see grey-water disposal.
Nice and quiet site. Very good for resting during a journey. The medieval town is also really beautiful to look around!
Great little campsite. Arrived for 2 nights stayed for 4. Showers, toilets and dish wash up area are perfect, the best I've ever seen. Washing machine,no dryer Friendly owners constantly cleaning and tidying.Nice town, €20 a night including EHU. Highly recommend.
We spent one night on our way to Portugal and the experience was very good. We had booked in advance by email. Check-in was quick and the price very reasonable (about €20 for 2 people + camper + electricity). The pitch was level and had an electrical hookup. The receptionist was very pleasant. The bathrooms were heated, newly renovated and very clean. There was no noise at night.
Perfect place, immaculate toilets, excellent shower, nothing to complain about. If all campsites were like this, I would come back.
This is supposed to be just a 2 star campsite but honestly It s perfect. Nice big grassy pitches, good electricity, clean shower and toilets. And all for 20 €. Perfect!
Perfect location, next to the historic center. Magnificent recently renovated facilities. Everything is new and super clean. I wish all campsites were like this one. Thank you.
I recommend it, very good. Everything is new and the site is welcoming. Friendliness and professionalism at reception. Historic town that should be visited. Two days minimum.
This is one of the nicest places we have been. You can get shade or sun and most importantly there are brand new bathrooms with heating and warm water The old city is in waking distance and is really nice with plenty of places to eat
We had a great night's stay, a small and quiet place. The facilities are amazing, very clean and heated. Two people and the car cost €15.50. A recommended place.
Always a fantastic stay, new very hot showers in heated block. Enclosed washing/washing up block also heated with hot water. Quiet lovely location by the river and old town. And the bonus of a bar!
Very friendly welcome and good value for money, new and clean sanitary facilities, new washing machine included in the price. We paid €20 for a motorhome and 2 adults.
We pulled up and watched a loose German Shepherd attack another dog on the site, no one around to stop it or manage it! Didn't feel at all safe to be staying with our dogs Fortunately we hadn't committed so we drove straight out.
Magnificent site, great service, new showers and toilets, town nearby, excellent.
We pulled up to the campsite to check in and a table full of men drinking started pointing and laughing at us. Not sure if they were workers or residents there but as two women, we immediately felt very uncomfortable and left.
Gorgeous little campsite. Brand new shower and washing up block, lovely hot showers. Looking out to the walled town above you (10 min walk away). Highly recommended!
THE CAMPSITE WILL BE CLOSED FOR BATHROOM RENOVATIONS FROM 3-11 TO 3/2. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Small, rather old campsite; the pitches are small but have trees. The showers are open on all sides and the water was barely lukewarm, with no heating when it was 7 degrees outside. They are outdated and poorly maintained. Avoid this campsite when temperatures drop. We will not return, even if it means taking a detour.
Clean and orderly bathrooms.
We had to stop here because of a flat tire. The welcome was friendly and we paid €20 for a camper with 2 people and electricity. However, the sanitary facilities—neither showers nor toilets—were clean. The toilets smelled of urine and the washrooms were unfortunately not clean either.
The most friendly welcome, very kind and helpful staff, very clean facilities, very well located. We will gladly return.
August 2025. Park with good shade, old but clean sanitary facilities. The pitches are somewhat chaotic, with a messy appearance. One night €31.00, motorhome with electricity, 5 adults.
lovely site. €20 for motorhome , 2 people , with electric. beside a wonderful old walled town, beautifully preserved. the site is spacious shaded and beside the town, seperated a weared river
A small campsite with good flat pitches and some shade. Adjacent to river, park and water activities over footbridge. Just below lovely small town encircled by ancient city wall. Campsite and facilities are old but functional with plenty of hot water although not particularly clean. Receptionist very friendly and spoke English.
Small campsite in a great location by the river and within walking distance of the beautiful old town. Very inexpensive, sanitary facilities perfectly fine, and a super friendly and relaxed receptionist!
Lively little campsite, perfect for a stopover and a quick visit to the town. Clean and pleasant sanitary facilities.
Small, family-run campsite, very pleasant, with the river nearby and close to the city.
