Been here?
A nearly flat roadside spot with a breathtaking view over the Ardèche gorges, suitable for one or two vans. It is generally very quiet overnight, with little traffic in the evening and at night, though some vehicles pass during the day. Wild goats sometimes wander nearby, and the sunrise is particularly attractive. There are no services.

Night during the last weekend of May, a spot with an unbeatable view of the Ardèche gorges. Very quiet overnight, with breakfast at sunrise!
Best night of the road trip, a perfect spot! The view is sublime, and there really are very friendly wild goats wandering around. We were there in May, and from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. not a single car came by. No fine either :)
Pleasant and flat spot. Great wake-up with the wild goats roaming around the gorges! I recommend it!
great views of the gorge! A few cars zoom by but that stopped by the evening
stunning view of the gorgeous gorge. room for 2 vans, left side flatter and has better views x
Great view of the Ardèche Gorges, both at sunset and sunrise—truly magnificent. On the side of the road with some traffic. There is room for two vans.
Great view! Unfortunately, only room for one or two campers.
Very good for spending one night, alone in the world, with an unbeatable view of the Ardèche and a magnificent sunrise.
We did not stop here. It looks extremely dangerous. Right beside the road. People drive quite fast here.
Very beautiful view... space for one van or two, relatively flat/level, BUT moved on by the gendarmes at 10 p.m. (wild camping prohibited). We came back for breakfast ☀️
Although it is beside the road, the place is very quiet. The view is magnificent. In the morning, a group of male goats came by—very friendly!
Very nice roadside spot. Very quiet, almost no cars but a few goats!!! Excellent view when waking up. A little narrow but easy to park!!!
Beside the road and the ravine. Quite quiet off-season, not many cars but some motorcycles passing by. Not a soul at night, but plenty of goats? The view is magnificent.
Same positive comments as everyone else; I would just add that if you want to avoid being in the sun in the morning, park on the side by the isolated tree rather than by the grove.
We arrived at night and had already seen two families of wild boars, a rabbit and goats standing in the road on the way. The spot is very small but level and very quiet at night. The view is beautiful and this morning’s sunrise was dreamy! In the morning, the goats grazed beside us—very cute. Unfortunately, from around 10 a.m. there are many motorcyclists on the road.
