Earl's Drive, PL101JB, Torpoint
Been here?
A quiet, friendly campsite inside a 19th C fort, with large pitches and beautiful sea views. Pitches 1-3 have the best outlook, and the site is a useful base for walks, Mount Edgcumbe and the ferry to Plymouth. Toilets and showers are basic, with showers requiring 20p coins. Hosts are friendly and helpful.

Very beautiful view of the sea. The pitches are also good. However, the sanitary facilities are unacceptable.
A campsite just the way we like it. No frills. Kevin is great; he spent more than an hour accompanying us by bicycle and showing us photo spots. Absolute peace, superb views, beautiful walks. With a 2.5 x 8 m motorhome it is challenging, but you can manage without damage.
Wonderful and quiet campsite with all facilities and very nice owner. Worth to come back.
Good starting point for hikes (Mount Edgcumbe) and for the ferry to Plymouth. Pitches 1–3 have a great sea view and are large; friendly owner. Sanitary facilities rather rudimentary: a small toilet container, basically just a toilet. The shower is awful and requires 20p coins; better to use the onboard shower. No washing-up facilities, so that must also be done onboard.
£22 for two adults in a 6 m motorhome. Includes hookup.
