83 Strada Provinciale Capalbio, 58011, Capalbio
Been here?
Free parking about 500 m from Capalbio’s historic centre, with some shade and no services. The asphalt is very sloping, and careful manoeuvring is needed at the entrance and exit, especially because of low branches. Recent reports found it quiet, although lighting was not operating on 9. 5. 2026.

A basic pitch on tarmac. Very sloping, and you need to be careful when entering and leaving. There are no services, but parking is free. The lighting was not working on May 9, 2026. The castle complex with its medieval town center is particularly worth seeing.
It is fine for a quick visit to the village and for sleeping if you do not want to search any further, although it is sloped. Enter through the exit, because the entrance is very steep and curved.
Small car park near the walls, shaded, with some spaces that are not level. Be careful when entering because of the low branches of a large tree. Very quiet in October and a peaceful night.
Capalbio welcomes motorhome travelers like few other municipalities. There are several unrestricted car parks. This one, in particular, is free and excellent for visiting the historic center, which is a little gem. We were there for the April 25 holiday weekend and found a space immediately. I imagine it is always full in the summer season.
Convenient parking for one night, fairly shaded and spacious. A little noisy at night due to cars and scooters. Too bad it is very sloped.
We were here a few days ago—very, very sloped. While exploring the beautiful town, we found a better car park: wonderfully level, with a great view and very quiet. We can only recommend Terrazza Capalbio Libri for overnight stays.
We parked only long enough to have dinner and briefly visit Capalbio in the evening. Good arrangement, although it is not right next to the town walls.
Good parking for one night, very quiet and close to the center, although all the spaces are sloped.
Lovely, quiet place. Somewhat sloped. Rubbish bin available. Beautiful little town to explore.
