Been here?
This roadside parking spot beside the lake offers direct access to a swimming area by a short path and a good view over the water. The bridge is currently closed, making access difficult, and the road remains audible without being excessively loud. There is no water, electricity or other infrastructure.

There have been no comments here for almost a year. Currently, access is not really possible because the bridge is closed, probably due to a risk of collapse; signs are posted. You can hear the road, but it is not excessively loud. If you go down, there is a great place to swim. No water, electricity, or rubbish disposal available.
I had a quiet night with a rooftop tent. Paths lead directly to the water and a hiking trail is also directly opposite. There are no rubbish bins, so please take everything with you :)
Because the bridge is closed to large vehicles, it is very quiet at night. A short footpath leads down to the water and there is a great view. No infrastructure. Reception is adequate.
Great place, with immediate access to swimming. But people, take your rubbish with you: broken camping chairs, a fire pit with grill, and rubbish… Go to the other side of the road into the forest, take a shovel, and dig a small hole. Think a little, otherwise this will be prohibited here too, as it is almost everywhere. It is in your hands!
Still a great place. BUT! Due to bridge damage, the larger of the two entrances is no longer passable, so you have to enter at the other end and reverse for about 150 m…
Beautiful, quiet place with a great view of the water. We were alone all night; two cars only arrived in the morning. The night was quiet. From around 7:00 a.m. it became louder because of the road, but it was far from disturbing. It was a shame that there was some rubbish lying around. We would definitely come back.
Beautiful small parking area by the road. The surface is gravel. A small path also leads down to the water.
Small free parking spot in nature. We stayed here alone for one night. Some road traffic during the day; at night, complete silence.
Very beautiful as a starting point for exploring the Harz. At weekends, all the mountain bikers arrive in the morning, but they are very friendly. We did not find a swimming spot in the immediate vicinity. The parking area is very level and there is plenty of space.
