Been here?
This is a large, free gravel parking area directly beside the fjord, with swimming access and room for about 15 - 20 motorhomes. There are no toilets, showers, waste facilities, or other services, so visitors must be self-sufficient. The road is usually quiet but can be heard in the morning. Access is awkward for larger vehicles because the uphill gravel road is very uneven.

Spacious site with a sea view and swimming opportunities. You hear the traffic in the morning, as is normal near a main road. The downside is the gravel road back up from the site to the road; it is terribly uneven and bumpy.
Space for approximately 15–20 motorhomes without services. Gravel surface, a former loading facility. Very close below the road, but in a superb location directly on the fjord. Free of charge—excellent!
We liked the site very much. Super beautiful view and room for several campers without being too close to one another. The road is not disturbing; only the entrance is somewhat difficult when coming from the direction of the gas station.
Super beautiful spot, but beware, anglers! From January 2026, all fishing will be prohibited in large parts of the Oslofjord, including here. Fine: NOK 10,000.
A good sized fairly flat area, access is awkward if coming from Selvik so drive past and find somewhere to turn round. A mix of campers, caravans and motorhomes here tonight.
One of the most beautiful pitches we have stayed at so far. We spent two nights here. No waste-disposal facilities or toilets/showers, so you should be self-sufficient. Supermarket and gas station are about five minutes away by car.
Great place to sleep; the road is not disturbing at all. It is often busy, but there is still enough space to be right by the water. A diving platform is installed, with three heights up to at least 6 meters for the highest. I recommend it.
Perfect parking by the water. Beautiful sunset. Swimming and fishing possible. Small beaches on both sides. No services.
Beautiful pitch directly on the fjord, with access to the water, fishing opportunities, and room for several motorhomes—what more could you want? :)
Very good place. There are no services, but the location is wonderful. There is a little road noise, but it is not a major problem. There is also a small beach nearby. Highly recommended. The descent may be difficult for large vans.
Excellent place before or after Oslo. Partly paved parking area by the water. No facilities and no trash bins. On June 21 there were certainly 20 campers/caravans. Beautiful view over the Oslofjord and pleasantly quiet despite being full. A small beach for swimming is next to it.
Fairly flat dirt parking area by the sea. Many fishermen. Plenty of spaces. Road noise is very audible but quiets down at night.
Beautiful location, super calm, plenty of space. can barely notice the road, especially at night. we stayed 2 nights while visiting Oslo
Great spot, but also very popular. You can fish well from here. The road is easy to hear.
Great place with a beautiful view for a first night in Norway.
Parking area right by the water. Sun until sunset at this spot. Very little traffic on the road at night. Great place, would come back anytime!
Perfect for a break and fishing, but the road is right next to it.
Large, relatively level parking area by the water. We saw a seal in the evening. It is quite noisy because of the road next to it.
Perfect for one night. Very nice view. Plenty of spaces. Swimming is possible.
You can safely spend a quiet night here or stop for a break. According to the signs currently posted, however, the site seems to be privately claimed.
Honestly good, but don't arrive too late if you want a good spot. There are quite a lot of people. There are bins and a small beach where you can dip your feet.
Very nicely situated, although right on the road.
Right by the fjord on level ground. The access is somewhat steep but manageable. The sunny location would be absolutely perfect if it weren't for the road. Fortunately, there was hardly any traffic at night. Only waste disposal, nothing else.
The most beautiful free camping spot of our trip. Great view and you could swim in the fjord. Many locals were there with motorhomes and cars for fishing. Bins available. Great view, and little traffic on the road at night, making it quiet. We even had a campfire in the evening. We can only recommend it!
Good spot, room for many motorhomes and caravans. A little road noise during the day, and the 10 metres from the road that you have to drive are a bit potholed. Otherwise, excellent.
Excellent camper spot for an overnight stay, beautiful view by the water, no problems with the road.
