Camping Lido Toce

Dogs are not allowed on the main site, but it is possible to stay next door on a manageable meadow. The sanitary facilities were always clean, and the pizza was delicious. The beach did not really convince us. The owners, I think, were very friendly.

Beautiful, peaceful and nature-oriented campsite with very nice operators… I spent five peaceful days here and was able to truly switch off… I will come back…

This is a campsite for relaxing and enjoying yourself. Spacious pitches, some with a view of the lake, very quiet, no entertainment, and a lovely, well-maintained small sandy beach. Very friendly welcome. We will certainly come back.

Avoid if you have a dog. They park you on the right before entering the campsite; dogs are not allowed inside the campsite, nor at the lake. At the bar they are only tolerated on the terrace, so if it rains.... it is completely ridiculous!

Medium-sized campsite with decent sanitary facilities and some nice pitches overlooking the water, EXCEPT if you travel with dogs. Then you get a pitch in a separate section at the entrance to the campsite. You are not even allowed to enter the rest of the campsite with your dog. You pay a lot for a pet-friendly site but get nothing in return. We did not come to Lago Maggiore for this.

Quiet, peaceful place, friendly owners, surrounded by nature. Recommended; we will definitely come back.

We had a great Whitsun weekend at the campsite: clean, well-maintained, close to nature and quiet, with enough space between the campers. At night we had fireflies, and during the day six rabbits around our bus. The owners assign you a pitch and tell you exactly how to park. No pool. The neighbouring village is within walking distance. Happily return!

Amazing and very peaceful campsite, surrounded by forest and directly on the lake. We went in early May; there were few people and the atmosphere was very family-oriented. Highly recommended if you are looking for peace and nature.

Very nice pitch on Lake Maggiore. Clean, water, electricity, dogs accepted. Large campsite with restaurant and swimming pool, close to the village. Recommended.

Very beautiful and peacefully situated campsite on Lake Maggiore. Many pitches are very large, the operators are extremely nice and helpful, and the sanitary facilities seem very new, exceptionally clean and well maintained. One of the best sites on our Easter tour through northern Italy in 2026. Unfortunately, the restaurant is absolutely not recommended.

Great place in the countryside. The owner was really nice, and the small bar with restaurant is also highly recommended. We certainly were not here for the last time.

Only 1 star? Because as dog owners we also want to be treated fairly; after all, we pay just like everyone else, even for the dog. We were "crammed" together with four other dog owners into an area perhaps equivalent to two regular pitches. Dogs are absolutely forbidden on the rest of the site. If you do not want dogs on the site, that is perfectly fine, but please do not do it like this.

Affordable rate, but the mosquitoes are causing real havoc! Enough to make you hate the place.

Fine, small campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities and a small beach that is cleaned of driftwood every day. Everything is very family-oriented, and we stayed at the front with a view of the lake. One star deducted because the lower sanitary building was unusable, while the neighbouring campsite supposedly cost only €11 more per night and offered far more.

The sanitary facilities are old but clean, though very dark. There is hardly any light in bad weather. Unfortunately, the lake here is always full of silt and algae. Swimming directly at the campsite is therefore hardly possible. We would not come back.

Excellent nature campsite with access to the lake and a view of the Borromean Islands. Very spacious pitches, rare on the large lakes, with trees for shade; the pitches at the end have lake views. Large, numerous and very clean sanitary facilities. Easy to cycle to Feriolo via cycle paths or to Lake Mergozzo. We loved this campsite!

Great campsite, but we will not return. The location is good: cycling to Mergozzo (recommended!), Verbania, Baveno and Stresa. Several ferries to the Borromean Islands leave from Feriolo, and Feriolo itself is pleasant, with many restaurants and cafés. The atmosphere at the campsite was cold. You were not allowed to decide how to position your camper, which meant little privacy. Swimming is impossible because of the plants!

Pleasant little green campsite. The pitches are quite large and the sanitary facilities are clean. Small restaurant/café inside. The beach is small and pretty, but there is a lot of mud and algae, making swimming unpleasant.

We stayed here for three nights. Clean sanitary facilities and very quiet. The only negative is that there are very few pitches with a view of the lake; positively, we had one of them :) We would come back.

We spent two days here in late September while passing through. Top-notch quiet and well-maintained site. More than clean sanitary facilities. We will definitely stop by again. Oh yes.... excellent pizza in the restaurant.
