Seacote Park

I have no idea why this is rated so highly. Two stars for the location, but otherwise it would be zero. The toilet and shower facilities were filthy, old and smelly. Pitches for “tourers” also include campervans, so they were gravel and packed closely together with little space. Static caravan homes are directly behind. Reception closed at 5 p.m., with no possibility of buying laundry tokens (£5!).

£22 per night with electricity. All water services available on the pitch. Elsan at the toilet block, although we didn't use it. Very short walk to the beach. Two areas: one allows awnings because it is farther back. The area we stayed in was as close to the sea as possible, but awnings were not allowed because it is exposed. Café and other facilities nearby. Very happy to stay again.

We drove here today on a whim. Chris was great and assigned us an emergency pitch outside opening hours. Fantastic view of the Atlantic. Electricity included. Extremely service-oriented and very, very friendly! Thank you! Flexibility and friendliness despite the late disruption, plus a fantastic view!

Beautiful landscape and a wide beach, but the campsite is not exactly a gem, with masses of ugly, uniform holiday homes. Late check-in was no problem after a straightforward online booking. I am staying with a 7-metre motorhome on the tent meadow without electricity. Price okay at £18 per night. Sanitary facilities could be better. Quite full. Motorhome pitches with electricity and sea views are packed together on gravel like sardines. Not for us or our dog. A coastal path starts here.

Great campsite especially if you get on one of the 11 pitches down near the beach front. First night we stayed in one of the pitches further up in the site but on 2nd night I asked if there was a pitch available down at the beach front and luckily there was. We had pitch number 9 which was huge. Location is spot on as well. Toilet and shower block nice and clean. Definitely stay again. £25pn ehu

Wonderful pitches, directly overlooking the sea, £25, everything included. Highly recommended.

Stayed for 2 nights. Nice large pitch on the front. Great walks and a lovely beach. Reception staff very friendly. Laundry is £5 each for washer and dryer (large load). Only downside are the showers- the water isn’t hot enough so it feels chilly. The block is clean (except for the cobwebs high up) but could do with updating. That being said, great value and we will be back.

Rang this afternoon to book a spot, lady in the phone was helpful and got us booked on quickly even though her computer wasn’t working. Arrived after the office was closed, a marked map was left for us showing where to park, right on the sea front with the best view ever! Haven’t used the facilities as yet but so far so good! Would definitely visit again!

I'm rating this on a "Park4night" basis. We drove up and there's spaces, but no-one available to take bookings. Finally got through on the phone, after about an hour - was told he couldn't allocate pitches as no access to booking system. So, while it looks like a super spot if you have booked, the system didn't work for drive ups.
