Been here?
Sehlendorf RV Park is a simple, level meadow only a short distance from a beautiful Baltic beach, with sandy and stony sections and a dog beach. The price is 18€ plus 3€ tourist tax per person, and the area must be left at 9:00 or paid for again. There is no electricity, while water and waste services cost extra and have recently been reported out of order. Beach toilets and a shower costing 2€ are available, with bakeries and small restaurants open during summer.

We found the place very nice. A simple meadow, just a stone's throw from the beach, with the possibility of taking a shower. A few stalls nearby also serve quite decent food; we went to Roland's. Nothing to complain about!Translating
We consider €18 reasonable for the quiet site directly on the Baltic Sea. Cars park in the middle and motorhomes along the edge. The site is sufficiently large, marked with numbers, level, and freshly mown. The beach is clean. The dog beach is not overcrowded. There is no electricity. Service and waste disposal are directly at the entrance.Translating
A very beautiful place. We liked it a lot. It has everything you need and the beach is beautiful.Translating
Everything could be so simple, but even as a local resident with a motorhome, I do not always feel welcome here—good location, little service, sometimes rude staff. Digitalization of the site and cheaper pitches would be a suitable solution for such a beautiful place. Instead, they charge €18 plus tourist tax plus a €5 fee for a SUP or surfboard—that is enough.Translating
€18 for a meadow without service and waste disposal?!?! Equipment out of order!! No wonder there were hardly any motorhomes here over Ascension weekend! We used to like coming here, but now the price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable!!Translating
€18 plus €3 tourist tax, and at 9 a.m. you must leave the site or pay again. You can use the beach toilets. A shower is also available for €2!!! Service and waste disposal naturally cost extra. If a municipality does not want motorhomes, it should not operate a motorhome site around a public car park. We will definitely never come back.Translating
On the first morning, a pleasant gentleman came to collect payment; today, while driving out punctually at 9:00, another man was in the roundabout, holding up two fingers as if at the border! He wanted proof that we had paid. When I said that this was not an acceptable way to behave, he replied: “Stay in Austria if you don't like it here.” Seriously? A barrier would be fine, but not this.Translating
The only disadvantage is that you have to leave at 9 a.m., otherwise you have to pay again. Level meadow surface. Snack bar, bistro, mailbox, toilets, souvenir shop, etc. Wonderful for cycling and hiking in the nature reserve. Only a few meters to the beautiful sandy Baltic beach. Drive along Strandstrasse to the end; do not follow P4N, otherwise you will end up at the expensive campsite.Translating
A meadow without electricity for €18 plus €3 tourist tax per person. At 9 a.m. you must leave the meadow or pay again. No toilets are provided for this site; you can use the toilets for day visitors. The beach is magnificent, hence one star.Translating
We were here before New Year's Eve. The site was closed, and the service and waste disposal facilities were also closed. However, it was possible to park lengthwise along the wooden barrier. In summer it is supposedly always very busy. We have not been here under normal conditions, so we cannot yet rate the site itself.Translating
Not recommended. The price-performance ratio is completely unacceptable now. Campers use the same toilets as beach visitors; I think that says it all. Parking on a meadow for €18, and in the morning you have to pay again.Translating
The price, value, and service are no longer right. Unfortunately. We always liked coming here when we were in Germany, but now we will look for somewhere else. Having to leave at 9 a.m. alone is enough! The staff are sometimes very inflexible. What a shame.Translating
The price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable! Last year we paid €12 without tourist tax; this year it is €18. Nothing has improved at the site or the sanitary facilities in recent years, so such an increase is incomprehensible to me.Translating
Dear people, be warned: I arrived last night, just paid €42 by card at reception, and have to leave again at 9 a.m. tomorrow. I consider this price excessive. I will spare you a photo from last week showing the condition of the women's toilet...Translating
I have known the site for 30 years and consider a 50% increase in the pitch fees unreasonable, as almost nothing has changed: bumpy paths, muddy meadows, dated toilets and showers, no electricity, and fresh water costs €2. The beach and nature are beautiful.Translating
If only I had read the previous reviews more thoroughly! This is only suitable for completely self-sufficient, well-insulated vehicles. The toilets and shower are far away and dirty. Vehicles drive around searching for spaces late in the evening, so it is very restless. The beach is beautiful, but there are beautiful beaches elsewhere too. The price is clearly excessive; we will not come here again.Translating
Great and very large site. Unlike the nearby campsite, it is directly beside the extensive beach. Toilets and washing facilities are in the sanitary building on the beach nearby, as are several restaurants. We had a quiet night and would happily return.Translating
This is a meadow car park that becomes muddy in the rain. It is a connecting path to the campsite behind it. Accordingly, hundreds of people walk to and from the beach all the time. In the morning someone knocks on the door to collect payment. Long access road over a bumpy beach car park. The beach itself is okay. Beach chair rental and restaurants are available.Translating
Too expensive for parking on a meadow.Translating
What a shame—my former favorite pitch now costs €21 instead of €15. Whether parking briefly or overnight, €21 is charged again at 9 a.m.! For one person, mind you. I find that excessive: an outrageous 50% increase. Service and waste disposal have also simply doubled in price.Translating
Very nice beach! We had a wonderful night. Otherwise overpriced! At 9 a.m. we were politely asked to leave the site or book and pay again. A place for early risers. Most of the motorhome spaces in the designated area were muddy!Translating
Beautiful stretch of beach. But otherwise you get the feeling that motorhomes are not welcome. A sign at the entrance says “motorhome site full, do not enter”; when asked, there was still space. Five of 50 spaces were occupied. At exactly 9 a.m., the “friendly” inspector knocked even though the ticket was visible in the windscreen. You must leave by 9 a.m. or pay extra. Only for early risers.Translating
We parked well. It was quiet and relaxing. Service and waste disposal available. There is a small food establishment, unfortunately it closes too early in bad weather. Dog beach nearby. We find it negative that the cashier knocks on the door before 9 a.m.Translating
