A large paved car park suitable for both small and large motorhomes, with parking allowed for up to 24hours. It has no services and is about 20 minutes from the ferry terminal, while the town center is a short walk away. Trains, especially freight trains, can be very loud but are not frequent.

Asphalt parking area without services, 20 minutes from the ferry terminal, but very good for spending the night before catching the ferry or after arriving from Denmark. If all you need is a quiet place to sleep, it is perfect. The town center with supermarkets, shops and restaurants is also a 5-minute walk away.Translating
Just a car park but if that's all you need, it's fine. Yes, the trains are noisy especially the freight, but they are not that frequent. When we visited, there was a food van parked with a big menu - delicious! It looks like it stays there. We decided to park here and not at Steinsfoss after walking the Tømmerenne which was awesome in the snow with the river raging below.
Large area, maximum parking time 24 hours. We arrived at night and wanted to sleep, then the train came twice within half an hour. We thought it was driving through the motorhome, it was so loud!Translating
