Travesía del camino viejo de Elche a Santa Pola, 03139, Elx
Been here?
Free, spacious and level parking beside the Elche River Safari, suitable for visiting the safari and cycling to Elche. Nights are usually quiet, and overnight parking has been reported as acceptable, but zoo animals and a barking dog may be heard. Tourists and children arrive from around 9 in the morning, while mosquitoes can be numerous near the vegetation and salt flats. Large rubbish bins are available, but there is no security.

Good, there were two trucks and we felt safe; we slept with the doors open.Translating
We were alone, so it was nice! Quite a few tourists in the morning, inevitably, and children. You can hear the animals at night, so bring earplugs! But really nice!Translating
Large, level parking area, apart from a few barks from the zoo dog. Very quiet night.Translating
When asked, the park manager told me that parking overnight is allowed, but there is no security if anything happens. The area seems safe. We spent two quiet nights, and the surroundings are good for walking dogs. There are also large rubbish bins. The park itself is rather not recommended.Translating
Honestly, I had a very peaceful night. I did not hear any noise, and activity began in the morning at around 9.Translating
Not a bad stop - we stayed 3 nights with no problems. Easy cycle path to the town and Elche which is worth a visit. There is a noisy dog nearby at night and we heard the Zoo animals during the night. It's very quiet for Mohos, which is much nicer.
It did not feel safe, it is quite remote, and there is little social oversight. So we did not stay there.Translating
One star deducted because there is a dog in the safari park at night that barks at every noise. The zoo itself is a catastrophe! The enclosures are far too small, it is really filthy and neglected; for some animals, death would be a relief. At night you can hear the lions and monkeys roaring. The parking area is excellent, with little road traffic and good connections to Santa Pola, Alicante and various supermarkets.Translating
Such an amazing spot , Palmeras vibe chill & bless ! super nice to spend beautiful time here
Overall, a great place for a truly peaceful night. However, thanks to the proximity of the salt pans and the lush vegetation, it is a mosquito hotspot. Sitting outside or simply walking around is out of the question.Translating
We spent two peaceful nights here. I recommend it, and I also highly recommend the safari park, especially with children.Translating
Very peaceful night, and plenty of space if you have a trailer. There were two other motorhomes. It is true that there are mosquitoes, and people come to the safari park in the morning.Translating
Very peaceful night! We heard the dog bark, but only a little, and after midnight it was truly quiet! It was beautiful sleeping among the palm trees!Translating
I spent a peaceful and serene night. The parking spaces are not large, so I do not recommend it for vehicles over 6 meters. Unfortunately, it is the only decent place still open because of inconsiderate people. See what you can do, because from Alicante southward you have caused everything to close. Then honest and careful people pay the price.Translating
Level, quiet, no problems, practically no motorhomes, plenty of space and good 4G connection!Translating
This spot could be so good; the setting is nice and there is space... BUT the dogs' barking is simply unbearable, even at night, intermittently. There is a dog that "guards" the safari park and barks at the fence.Translating
Really excellent quiet parking area for one night; the children were even able to hear some animal noises. No motorhomes, which was just as well given the crowds of campers by the sea! No services, but the parking area is large and level, surrounded by palm trees.Translating
