Rampart parking, morning traffic noise

We arrived at 10 p.m. and were completely alone here throughout the night. The pitches are slightly sloped, but we slept very well. Very quiet place. Clean. Bins available.

Perfect for one night. Wonderful place to stay beneath the ramparts. The nearby bells are very pleasant. The icing on the cake.

Quiet place to spend the night, with a little distant traffic on the road but nothing bothersome. Good for an overnight stop.

highly recommend. we stayed for one night on a Saturday. it was very quiet with minimal traffic passing by. Plenty of parking spaces and bins. No facilities but great for 1 night.

Great place for one night and exploring the old town. In the evening the parking lot is used by walkers and dog walkers. The night was very quiet. We were alone. The usual noise started only in the morning from 7:00 a.m. Unfortunately, hardly any shops in town were open during the holiday season.

The place is really pleasant, with greenery around the parking spaces. But the traffic noise was simply terrible for me. No break until 11 p.m., let alone anyone respecting the 30 km/h zone. It continued again early in the morning. For me it was just annoying and stressful. Unfortunately, I had relied on the comments in the app.

Great quiet stay. Under the mediaeval wall with great views over the countryside. There is a 10 minute dog walking and running loop from where you are.

Very good this July: very quiet for spending a night and having time to walk around the lovely medieval town with its very large church and cathedral. Close to the town center with restaurants and bars. We were there on a Thursday night outside school holidays, with only two other motorhomes in the parking lot. No prohibition—thank you to the town!

Excellent spot for a pleasant walk in the beautiful town. We spent a quiet night. In the morning, cars boxed us in and it was difficult to leave with our 7-meter vehicle.

We were unsure whether it was allowed to stay overnight here, but it was. The parking lot was empty in the evening, then completely full in the morning. Late at night, young people met in the parking lot with loud music in their car for 1.5 hours. Fine for one night. Bins available. Very beautiful town, truly worth seeing!

Super nice and quiet at night. But around 7-8am the parking place is full of cars. There is a high school and univercity close by, so i asume this is why it gets full. Trashcans are available. Good for walking with your dog.

Rather quiet night. From 7 a.m. the parking lot starts filling up and was completely full by 8 this morning.
