Free parking at a beach, with nearby benches and a barbecue area. It is small and often crowded, with cars, vans, road traffic and trains causing considerable noise, sometimes throughout the night. The toilet has been reported as filthy, while Karlstad is accessible by bus or a pleasant 2.5km walk.

It seems like a great place if you want to swim; otherwise, it is busy with locals in good weather. During the day, the sound of the roads behind it is quite disturbing, and a train also passed while we were having lunch. But perhaps it is much quieter in the evening.Translating
Some people have better hearing than others... A silent night for us, even though there were about ten of us! A 1.9 km walk around the lake starts in front of us: pleasant, but with only a minimal view of the lake. The town is 2 km away, starting to the right, with a succession of shops—as in many other towns. So it is up to you!Translating
It was ok for one night. The toilet I filthy if you don’t have access to a toilet. Easy to get to Karlstad city by bus.
ok for smaller MH at 9mtr we just backed down to the bottom. noisy road and very busy with cars and vans coming and going. didn't bother staying the night
Nice beach, but the parking area is for bathers and motorhomes, which means it is never quiet because cars come and go all night. There is also noise from the road and train. Bring earplugs if you plan to stay there.Translating
Perfectly fine for spending one night. Small, charming lake for swimming, with seating and a rubbish bin. There is also a pit toilet. Fishing is not allowed.Translating
The parking area itself is rather small, so it is not ideal for parking a motorhome. If you like having an external toilet as a backup, this is not the place for you. Even the pit toilet was simply disgusting. Several motorhomes were already there at 6:30 p.m., and because of the toilet situation, we drove on.Translating
