5 Via San Scrofani, 97010, Marina di Ragusa
Been here?
This shaded campsite is close to the beach, with recent reports placing it 50 mt away, and near shops, restaurants, the town and a cycle path. Warm showers, dishwashing water and camper services are included, while 4kw per day is included and extra use costs 0,70€ per KW. Facilities are old and sometimes poorly maintained, and mosquitoes are common. Access is narrow and uneven, making the site difficult for large campers.

Good campsite, pitches in the shade, bathrooms a little old, sea not too far away, and hot showers included in the price. Lots of mosquitoes.
The site is very outdated. Services are inferior to those of a rest area, with excessive prices for what is offered. For example, dogs cost €2 per day at this time, but what do you get? There are not even bag dispensers. At the pitch, if you need to fill the camper’s water tank, you have to connect to the dishwashing or foot-washing tap, if you can reach it with the water hose and if they are open.
Good campsite in January: camper and two people, €360, everything included—hot water, showers and dishwashing. Washing machines and dryer, 4 kWh per day. Very close to the city, with many supermarkets, restaurants (expensive), pizzerias and a beach 50 metres away. Cycle path and many pitches with some shade. The facilities need some refurbishment, but it is clean.
Friendly staff at reception, beautiful site, somewhat outdated. Its proximity to the wonderful beach and promenade is a major advantage. Camper services available. The access road is somewhat narrow and very bumpy, but manageable.
Greatly located site with lots of shade. The site and facilities are unfortunately somewhat outdated, but clean. Excellent location on the edge of town, about a five-minute walk to the beach. Problematic for large campers because of many trees and low-hanging branches, as well as the very narrow entrance, especially at the exit through the grey-water area. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended.
Old, small and not very clean facilities. There is no hot water for washing dishes or yourself. Far from the centre and public transport. The only positive aspect is that it is close to the public beach.
It has improved significantly in terms of noise and the tidiness of the pitches. Much less noise from the neighbouring village. But more could be done, especially because Marina di Ragusa deserves it and there are no other alternatives. The facilities remain outdated and poorly maintained, but are fairly clean. Helpful and courteous staff. Excellent location for enjoying both the sea and the town centre.
At the moment it is very quiet. The sea is there, but the free beach is 200 metres away. Otherwise there are private beach establishments.
Good location near the beach and town. However, the neighbouring hotel played loud music continuously until 11:30 p.m. on a Tuesday evening. Sanitary facilities are very outdated, as already described.
Well located on the seafront, shaded, convenient for filling and emptying, very friendly staff and clean. Certainly very pleasant at this time of year; I fear the summer crowds because the pitches are very narrow.
4 kWh of electricity per day are included. Additional consumption costs €0.70 per kWh. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but kept clean. Typically, there is no toilet seat or toilet paper. The site is close to town, and in the opposite direction there is a nature reserve. Beach 100 metres away. Marina di Ragusa is a town with good infrastructure and a beautiful, well-maintained seafront promenade.
Sanitary facilities from another era, and the dishwashing basin is from the same era. The campsite photos are really very old and do not show the actual campsite.
Okay for a short stay, but nothing more. The sanitary facilities are an absolute catastrophe! Very dark under the trees, and afterwards there was lots of bird droppings on the car. We would not return!
Good location, but in my opinion somewhat neglected and in need of refurbishment during the summer months. The bathrooms are a matter of personal preference; I preferred using my van’s. It can certainly improve. The price is also debatable, but that is very subjective. At present, it does not seem in line with what it offers.
Great location near the lido with good infrastructure. Friendly welcome. Everything you need is available. We stayed for four nights.
€23 on ACSI is too much. Cash only. Facilities very tired, showers small, but they are hot with decent pressure. Site is overrun with cats (10-15 move in a pack), jumping on camper’s tables, sitting on anything left outside and vigilance required, so they don’t come inside. Marina di Ragusa is tidy. Clean, nice promenade & beach, some nice eateries & lots of cake shops. Campsite-1st*, Location-2nd*
I am giving two stars because of the price. It is nothing more than a parking area: €92 for one night and four hours beyond checkout time, without anything more than a parking area offers. The seaside location is convenient for the beach and visiting Marina di Ragusa, but it is truly too expensive for a shaded car park. The staff are extremely kind, but I do not recommend it.
Pleasant campsite because of the shaded pitches and proximity to the sea. However, its location in a tourist area creates some noise, although it remains reasonable. The facilities are perfectly adequate.
Excellent location, just a short walk from the beach, but the general condition of the campsite contrasts with the order, cleanliness and maintenance found in beautiful Marina. The camper layout is irrational, with vehicles parked side by side despite the campsite being half empty. The toilet facilities are limited and in very poor condition. The value for money is inadequate. It is a shame there is no competition locally.
Convenient location by the sea and town, with a beautiful cycle path opposite, but this is a campsite full of prohibitions: assigned pitch even when the campsite is empty, no football, no bicycles, no swimming costumes. The facilities are somewhat dated and poorly maintained. The bathrooms are not very clean. I would not return. It is not cheap either.
Very quiet and shaded campsite on 11 June. The sanitary facilities are outdated but clean. A sandy beach is 200 metres away, and there is a seafront with sun loungers and restaurants stretching for 2 km. €30 per night, but the pitch was assigned even though the campsite was half empty!
8.5 m. Arrived 28/05/2024, departed 30/05/2024. €30 per day with electricity. 6 amps, but only 4 kWh per day included in the price. Very quiet and clean. Draining gravel surface. Entry is slightly difficult for campers with a large overhang. Very convenient drive-through filling and emptying point. Bathrooms and showers are dated but functional. Near the seafront, but not directly opposite the beach.
Friendly welcome. No sea view. Easy access even with a trailer. Large pitches. Easy waste disposal even with a trailer. ACSI rate for two people €23 plus €1 tax, €24 including tax, with no extra charge for the trailer. Seafront right next door, and dogs are allowed on the beach. Very good for visiting Modica, Scicli and Ragusa.
Well-maintained campsite with many amenities. Electricity and hot showers are included in the price. Across the road there is a beautiful beach, and restaurants are nearby. There is a hotel complex next door, where loud music is often played in the evening until 11 p.m.
Very pleasant campsite, everything works and everything is clean. The sanitary facilities are old, but the shower is very hot! I paid €45 for one person for two nights in the mid-season. The washing machine costs €5. Ideal for a break during a journey.
Excellent campsite with comfortable pitches. It is a shame the facilities are somewhat run-down, although very clean, and the showers are free with hot water. Washing machine operated with tokens. Located on the seafront; the town is a 15-minute walk away and a supermarket is five minutes away on foot. We will return and recommend it.
Pleasant and well-maintained environment, clean. We stayed for two nights and it was very enjoyable. The town centre is lovely and just a stone’s throw from the campsite!
Definitely the best in Sicily. Clean, close to shoping, nice clean town, beach, restaurants. Friendly staf with good English. Some places are under birds favorite sleeping trees so you might get birds droppings on your vehicles.
A beautiful campsite with all services and friendly, helpful staff in a strategic location. However, I do not find it very welcoming for spending the winter: it is too shaded, you only see the sun briefly all day, and from 3 p.m. you have to turn on the heater inside the camper. There are only one or two genuinely sunny pitches in the whole campsite, which will remain empty in summer because they are too hot.
ACSI price 2024: €23 plus €1 tourist tax. Price for one month: €350. Good campsite, good shower with unlimited use. Many shaded pitches.
The place is pleasant; it is good to live at this campsite, which is very close to the town centre with all its shops. The sanitary facilities are truly from another era, but they are clean and hot water is guaranteed.
Best campsite we stayed at during four weeks in Sicily. Everything was clean. The staff speak English. Heated communal area! Cycle path into town, which is the cleanest in all of Sicily. Beach across the road. Supermarkets, restaurants and more within walking distance. We planned to stay three nights and stayed two and a half weeks. It will not get better in Sicily.
This campsite deserves five stars for its cleanliness, the welcome from the people at the entrance, and its location about 300 metres from the beach among very attractive houses. An address to recommend to all motorhome travellers; you can go there with complete confidence. I would even give it six stars.
