A large forest parking lot beside the main road and a stream, serving as a starting point for hikes to Roßstein, Buchstein, and the Tegernseehütte. Overnight stays are allowed for 10€ from 18-8, with a clean bio-toilet and bins available. The lower section is spacious and suitable for larger motorhomes, though only some areas are level.

The site has existed for a very long time, and we have been staying there for over 15 years. It used to cost nothing, but that changed after COVID. Composting toilet and garbage bin, and most importantly: a D1 Telekom LTE mast 150 meters away, so full speed! It is level only in a few places.
Great place with a clean composting toilet. Right by the stream and at the trailhead for the Tegernsee Hut! Overnight stays are allowed for a fee. Recommended!
Attention! The parking lot is closed from July 3 to July 8, 2022, for renovation. We stayed overnight without any problems at the beautiful parking lot by the gorge instead.
Great place with a toilet. Worth it.
We spent a very quiet night here. A portable toilet is also available. I think €10 from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. is reasonable. The site is fairly level and suitable for large vehicles.
