Airport parking, aircraft noise

Very funny place to stay. You may be bothered by people coming and going at this aircraft observation spot, but not by the airplanes themselves. We had a good night. Our motorhome is not very noisy regarding outside sounds.

Nice spot with plenty of room, no services but there was a bin. Was there early evening and lots of parents with kids watching the planes so not sure about the dodgy goings on. Also just down from private Riga aircraft museum.

This place is really awesome for spotters, it’s pretty rare to find a parking where you can stay so close to the fence. So many cars coming and going, unfortunately, not everybody comes here to watch the airplanes. Car sex in the middle of the day is obviously a normal thing here. Didn’t stay for the night.

Surprising and interesting spot! What a spectacle while having dinner. Not as noisy as you might expect compared with a busy road. It is a local attraction. Behind it is a kind of open-air museum with old airplanes.

I stopped here for the night. I slept well and peacefully despite the hum of airplanes. An excellent place for watching planes take off and land almost right beside you, just behind the fence.

Place directly beside the airport, level, gravelly, and dusty. Despite a large rubbish bin, litter is repeatedly found on and beside the parking area—not unbearable, but unattractive. Overall, parking here is okay. However, there is no nighttime flight ban. In good weather there are many plane spotters, with people coming and going, but no partying; everything is relatively quiet. In the morning it is almost idyllic.

Nice view, you can watch airplanes landing and taking off. Of course because of this there's a lot of people, but now and then it is also quiet, so depends on your luck. No wc, no services.
