Quinta da Colina dos Moutinhos - Tobianos horse farm

Thank you, Hugo, very welcoming and eager to exchange cultures. The place is magical, from the decoration of the sanitary facilities to the convivial little corners throughout the whole area provided. Wild ducks, cats, dragonflies, horses, ponies, chickens... Total peace and quiet. Electricity, a fridge and a barbecue are available. Lots of fruit trees. Everything is based on simple encounters and well-being. Perfect.

A wonderful place! Definitely worth a stop. We stayed for two nights and parked in one of three lovely spaces for larger motorhomes. Electricity is available on site and drinking-water taps are distributed throughout the grounds. There are two bathrooms and the possibility of doing laundry. Great play areas for children, lots of hammocks, animals, a small pool, and more. Very peaceful!

What an excellent place. We loved it. 5* on everything: perfect spot, facilities, cleaness, warm welcome. And for free! We did left a tip - tip case inside the fridge! Thank You to the owner. We Will came back for sure!

Super cool place. Sweet owners. Unfortunately only had the opportunity to spend one night and one morning with them. We got eggs from the farm for breakfast. Good facilities. I would love to come again.

Not to be missed if you are in the area! A little corner of paradise. We had planned to stay one night, but felt so good here that we extended our stay by two more nights. We were able to have a barbecue, the hot shower is very pleasant, and the place itself makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. The owner is very welcoming.

Great RV spot! Stayed 2 nights and loved it. Plenty of activities — kids were thrilled and begged for one more night. Unique place with beautiful decor. Has everything needed and more. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay, we planned for one night and stayed for two it was that good. So relaxing to hear the birds twittering, chicken and ducks too and some lovely frogs in the pond. To be able to walk around the grass paths under the shade of the trees was great for our dog too. Thank you very much Hugo.

We were only supposed to stay one night with my husband and our three children, but ended up staying three nights because we liked the place so much. Warm exchanges with the residents. A little corner of paradise. A very pleasant surprise.

Beautiful, lovingly decorated grounds that felt very cosy. Water and electricity were easy to access. Everything was very straightforward.

Amazing place, farm living, communal bbq and pizza oven, lots of open space and animals, great place to visit after all the big private camp grounds. Favorite part was walking the property, hanging out with all the animals and the cat Rammus.

An incredibly lovingly designed and creative place that invites you to stay longer. There is lots to discover. The lower pitch area has sufficient shade, but the paths to the bathroom are longer. The operator, Hugo, is very friendly, communicative and helpful. He is full of ideas for this place and recognizes its own issues, such as too few showers when there are more visitors.

Great pitch with an incredibly helpful owner. It should be noted that this is not a campsite where everything is available in abundance. It is a lovingly run pitch where children can connect with nature and animals. Very natural and quiet. I stayed there for four nights with a car, a rooftop tent and two children. Highly recommended.

Me and my family planed to stay here for 1 night but we left for two :) , there are a lot of beautiful places, you can make pizza there and the owner is great! ;)

Very beautiful setting. Little shade in the upper section, which is the nicest. Above-ground pool, perfect for children. Hammocks everywhere and walks to see the animals. Only one shower, so it gets a little congested! Sanitary facilities in a converted trailer, clean. Very reasonable price (€15 per vehicle plus one adult, €5 per additional adult, €5 per additional vehicle if travelling in a group) and friendly people.

I wanted to stay only one night and then I ended up staying 5 nights ;) very nice space, good energy and very kind host . thank you, I will come back

Very beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by animals, with all the necessary comforts. We had not booked, but we were given a very warm welcome!

Very friendly welcome. We could choose our pitch and chose the one at the very bottom on the left, next to the horses. One shower and two toilets in a clean, functional and nicely decorated truck trailer. €15 for the pitch, €5 for electricity. We had a very pleasant visit from a cat that even slept in the car overnight. If you like animals and nature, this is the ideal place.

Wonderful place. You completely unwind here. Hugo and the other families are very friendly and helpful. We used the oven and barbecue. Very cosy. The sanitary facilities in the trailer are nicely done and clean: one shower, two toilets and one washing machine. There are three motorhome pitches upstairs. More pitches are downstairs, down a reasonably steep slope, among the trees.

Excellent place, run by Hugo with tons of ideas and energy. We received a warm welcome and prolonged our stay, wanting to stay even longer in this little paradise. Loved the people we met.

Fine for a day and something different. The owner is very friendly! Plenty of entertainment for the children. The barbecue and pizza oven are freely available. The sanitary facilities are in a truck trailer and were still under construction. Beautiful view, open views over the horse meadow, very quiet and spacious private pitches.

We spent four nights in this magnificent, exotic place. Our two children, aged nine and seven, loved it. Everything you need is here: a huge natural area with animals, hammocks, a pool to cool off, a barbecue area, a wood fire area... And above all, pitches with splendid views.

Very beautiful place in the middle of nature. Hugo and his staff are super friendly. You have a large pitch overlooking the farm. The sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a large area for barbecuing and washing dishes, as well as a campfire area, many places to sit, hammocks and a small pool. We had a very pleasant and relaxing time at the farm. Thank you.

A place to linger — and to return to. We actually only wanted to stay for one or two nights. In the end, we stayed for seven — and left with heavy hearts. Our children said: “This is the most beautiful place of all!” And that means something, because during our three-month journey through Portugal we saw many beautiful places. There are horses, an ostrich (thank you for the egg — we have never eaten so much omelette!), dogs, cats and a billy goat... A small pool invites you to cool off, and there are many hammocks for relaxing. Everything has been designed with so much love and passion — you can feel that this place is truly special. A huge thank you to Hugo and the entire team for this unforgettable time with you. We very much hope that one day we may return.

Wonderful ranch run by Hugo! The approach is described as steep, but it should be manageable without problems. The owner is an absolute gentleman and very helpful! We were allowed to pick fruit and explore the entire property undisturbed. There are two very nicely furnished toilet and bathroom facilities with hot water. We would gladly come back!
