Paid lakeside parking, very expensive

These prices are unbelievable!!! If you cannot find anything else, it works for one night, and the promenade offers various restaurants. Otherwise, parking and overnight stays here are outrageously expensive!

Absolute rip-off; avoid this unattractive and dirty place. The electrical hookup does not work, but charging people works quite well... 8 p.m. to noon: €35???? For what? Everything is just about making money; the administration should be ashamed.

Outrageously expensive pitch! No toilets, disposal station, or anything else. If you visit the thermal baths, you pay €1 in parking fees for the day. But as soon as you want to sleep there, the night rate from midnight to 5:59 a.m. starts at €15. Every additional hour costs money again. From midnight to 10 a.m. we therefore paid €24. Not recommended for one night!

We stayed here from September 26 to 28. Close to a restaurant and the boats that go to the islands, Herreninsel and Fraueninsel. I would spend the most time on the latter. A very charming island. The pitch is gravel and costs quite a bit. But it is directly at Lake Chiemsee.

WARNING, absolutely avoid — just a parking lot with no toilet or water, and no gray- or black-water disposal. The only positive point is the location close to the lake and the landing stage for the lake shuttle boats. €31 without any services is outrageously expensive.

About ten motorhome pitches. Near the landing stage for the island and the little train. A bit expensive at €29 for 20 hours. Electricity €1 for 1000 W (choose the outlet and insert the money). Very quiet at night.

Just a paid parking lot! €28/24 hours. Paid electricity available on about ten spaces. Swimming pool (open all year, €16 per person with sauna + €5 for the sauna) and outdoor beach at the lake, closed on September 15. Indoor pool with sauna open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Beautiful walking routes. No Wi-Fi.

Great place right next to the lake and the landing stages for Chiemsee shipping. Use of the toilets is possible during the indoor pool's opening hours. Electricity was free during our visit.

Good place to park and within easy walking distance of the town. Perfect for 2 nights. Fraueninsel has more charm and less culture than Herreninsel.

The parking lot is quiet and has enough space. It is sufficient for an overnight stop. But considering that getting fresh water or disposing of gray water is somewhat complicated and electricity costs extra, it is rather expensive. We were there only half a day and paid €29.

Very quiet, 7 min to reach the ships to visit the lake. Toilet and black/gray water services are a bit complicated to use

A good place, close to the lake and ferries. The pool toilet is free but can only be used during opening hours. I could not find the facilities for filling and emptying.

Well-lit place. In the rear area, the lights are switched off at night. The ones at the front by the road stay on all the time. The toilet is in the swimming pool and accessible only during its opening hours. Otherwise, there is no public toilet open anywhere nearby at night. There may be a few watt-hours left from the previous user at the power box. Excellent.

Swimming pool parking lot with an area for campers. Electricity ✅ Cassette toilet emptying at the shipyard, 2 minutes on foot. Great starting point for the castle and town.

I was here today exclusively to fill and empty tanks. First you have to take a parking ticket at the barrier by the swimming pool; it is free for up to 30 minutes. Then continue to the shipyard. If the barrier there is closed, you can ring the harbor master's bell; he will open it and direct you. Everything is a bit complicated, but it works and everything is free.

Perfect pitch for visiting Herreninsel and Fraueninsel, as it is about a pleasant 10-minute walk from the Prien boat landing stage. Quiet, clean.

Great for one night because it is very quiet and well located. If you use the swimming pool and have the parking ticket stamped, the parking price is reduced. The one-star deduction is only because of the otherwise very high costs, which you know in advance.

Stranded here unexpectedly at 3 a.m. ... It was perfect for a stay of less than 15 hours. Really recommended for short stops. We paid €17.

Quite expensive at €35 for a pitch, but perfectly located and very quiet. We would spend the night here again. If you want to shower at the swimming pool, you pay the regular admission price of €8.50.

We were here from Saturday at 1 p.m. until Sunday at 2 p.m. Normally it would have cost €35 (€10 day ticket for Saturday until 11:59 p.m. + €15 night ticket from midnight to 6 a.m. + €10 Sunday day ticket). By visiting the thermal baths, the day ticket costs only €1. So we paid just €26 for the entire stay. Filling and emptying is possible at an adjacent shipyard. Electricity costs €1 per kWh.

On the shores of Lake Chiemsee. Expensive and no services, but the location is great. You can enjoy walking in nature, away from the chaos.
