This free motorhome area beside the Murr is currently closed. Recent reports also mention nearby construction, though the location is otherwise quiet and close to Backnang’s attractive town center. The area has four spacious spaces, with Aldi and Lidl nearby. Previous visitors reported fresh water, disposal, electricity, internet access and a sanitary facility, but the fresh-water system was recently defective.

Looks quite nice, but unfortunately it is currently closed.
I am completely satisfied with this free place, where I can raise the roof of my high-roof van and sleep upstairs, which is prohibited in an ordinary parking area. It is quiet and not far from the very beautiful town. Thanks also from me to the town of Backnang.
Practical, free, not sensational.
DRINKING WATER, TOILET WATER, ALMOST ALWAYS BROKEN. 5 times out of 10 I lose €1. No telephone number if I want to get my money back. WunnenBad Winnenden has no tokens for disposal. Thanks to both municipalities.
The sanitary facility is functional. Internet access is unrestricted. It was dry during our visit. The pitches were relatively level. The location is great, even though construction is currently taking place nearby. The comments should also take into account that a free motorhome pitch is being provided here (thanks to the town of Backnang), not a classic motorhome site.
The pitches are sloped and muddy, so we continued to the site in Aspach.

Thanks to the town! Nice place in the meadows a little outside town. A bicycle and leveling blocks are useful! No shade.
Very nice spot, unfortunately the fresh-water facility is currently out of order. Waste disposal works.
One of the best parking areas in the region, and also close to the swimming pool. We always come back here.
The site is perfect for our 8.5-meter motorhome. Lots of grass, with the water connection and disposal nearby. We were able to wash three loads with our TinyWash. For €1 you get about 150 liters. The road did not bother us at all.
Free, next to greenery and grass. Lots of passing traffic during the day, very quiet at night. Close to the center.
Everything except electricity. For €1, toilet disposal and fresh water. There are more parking options. Outdoor pool 800 m away.
Unfortunately, the water does not work. And getting a refund does not work either.
Beautiful green location, except that the access road to the leisure pool runs past it, and the pool is open until 9:00 p.m. I drove on.
Basically a great place. Very quiet at night. Playground and shops within walking distance. Leveling blocks would be useful. Great: more than 100 liters of water for only €1. But why only 3 stars? There is absolutely no network here. Internet reception is a disaster. Not recommended for working.
Far too far away to see the town. I stopped at the Lidl car park at the beginning of the road, partly because the town is not nice. So it was possible to stay there for one hour.
