Churchside ruins, narrow steep access

Quiet place with a nice view from the top of the monastery. You can hear the road faintly in the background, but it did not bother us. There is a restaurant, but it was closed when we passed by. There is room for 4 or 5 vans.

Impossible to turn around with a vehicle over 6 m; low branches scrape against a coachbuilt motorhome. Only suitable for small vehicles.

Easy access. Parking area below the church; we slept well in peace and quiet. You can visit the nearby site beside the church if you like Roman remains (free).

Super-quiet place. In the morning, cars arrived with people coming for walks or to the church. Access to the parking area is somewhat steep but paved almost all the way and lit. Not suitable for vehicles over 3 m; the tree branches touch the roof.

A very adventurous route to the parking area, but still a nice place to spend one night.

Good place to stay for a night when you want to be near Girona. Short drive away from Girona and super calm at night. Not the most cosy or scenic spot but not bad for 1 night & there is cell data for those that need it.

We had the parking area all to ourselves. Narrow but accessible entrance (6 m van with scooter trailer). Very quiet place with no services. Visit the ruins and walk in the forest.

Good place, large parking area below the church. At 7:30 in the morning the police passed by without saying anything.

Warning: be sure to come from the main road. Google led us along forest tracks that were very difficult to drive on. As a destination, you can enter the bar (Sacre Bar), for example. Once there: beautiful view. Good place for one night.
