Unnamed Road, 715 00, Gazi
Been here?
This is a rough but generally passable track ending at a parking area beside a gorge, with superb views over Iraklion. It is suitable for walking a dog and watching vultures, but the ground is uneven and there is a lot of rubbish. Strong wind and goats with bells have affected overnight comfort. Local cars and people have caused noise until 3AM.

Amazing view. That is why the local youths use it as a make out spot ;) cars were driving around and people going at it (xd) until 3AM. Also a lot of goats with bells that were very interested about out van. All in all way to noisy to sleep. We parked the van in a flat spot closer to the main road and spent the night.
The view is breathtaking, day and night. After finally getting along the stony path, you end up on a fairly large plateau. We were completely alone here in July. The night was actually good too, except that the wind was very strong all night. Still recommended!Translating
Slightly stony road but beautiful spot! We stopped earlier, see the photo of the white Crafter, because the road was too rocky for us. Off-road or spare tyres are advantageous. We then walked there for a stroll and had fun. We used the site after the ferry and before the ferry. Great for walking the dog and settling in. Space for about one van. Locals come here to jog.Translating
A place with a great view of the town and small goats—you can actually see the vultures flying in the morning! Unfortunately, one star is deducted because there was quite a lot of rubbish on the ground. Otherwise, a really cool spot; the road coming from the west gets you there very quickly. So take the longer route and drive a little farther up the mountain to the gate.Translating
