A very small, pleasant and quiet parking place near the start of a walking route, with picnic areas, shade and views of Canals. A water fountain is located just below the Portalet route sign. It is suitable for a stop and countryside walk, although the nearby motorway can be heard. Some areas are relatively level, and rubbish has been reported.

Very small but pleasant and very quiet parking area.
I stayed for three nights. There is a water fountain just below the Portalet route sign. Please look after the surroundings; there is rubbish.
It is not a parking area, but it is not bad. Quiet; good for taking a break and going for a walk in the countryside.
Simple parking area, relatively level in some places, between the forest and seemingly uninhabited houses. Popular with walkers and athletes. The motorway is nearby and audible. We did not see any canals; an old tunnel has its entrance here. Starting point for hikes.
