Norway
Been here?
This is a flat, isolated parking area away from the road, surrounded by nature and grazing animals. It is very quiet, with only background noise from nearby wind turbines. A picnic table and garbage can are provided. The area offers access to windmill viewpoints and possible walks, but comments differ on whether there are proper hiking routes.

If you like peace and quiet, nature, and cows, this spot is perfect!Translating

Wonderful rest area, a starting point for many hiking trails, including long-distance routes, depending on your preferences. Lots of grazing animals; we had an absolutely quiet night.Translating
Very peaceful. And not really for hikers, because there are no real hiking routes. But you can explore 70 windmills by foot if that is what you want to do in norway.
Nice place with one big caveat! Forget parking six cars. This is primarily intended for locals going hiking, not for lots of motorhomes and similar vehicles.Translating
Really beautiful and well-maintained motorhome site. Absolutely quiet. A bin is available. Truly recommendable.Translating
