D1006, 73500, Termignon
Been here?
Free parking with four spaces by the D1006, near Lake Mont Cenis. Public toilets and trash bins available; a water tap and grey-water disposal exist but may be non-functional. Services have been increasingly shut down in recent years. Flat ground suitable for overnight stays; quiet at night but busier from 7am. Free shuttle to Bellecombe parking (2300m) for alpine hiking.

We spent three quiet nights here. The water tap works and the toilets are clean. There is a free shuttle from the tourist office to the Bellecombe parking area at an altitude of 2,300 meters, with very beautiful hikes to enjoy. Thank you to the municipality.
Used for one overnight stay, and I can confirm that it is convenient. However, as of today it is practically just a parking lot, with pitches long enough to accommodate large motorhomes. The water supply and gray-water drainage services have been decommissioned. Waste containers are available.
Fine camper site beside the road, with many spaces, including level ones. Good facilities such as waste containers. Quiet in the evening and at night. In short, excellent for one night.
No longer designated as a camper site, only bins remain.
Went to dump gray water and fill up with fresh water. We could only dump the gray water because the tap above the sink was turned off. There was also no access to the toilet or shower inside the cabin, as it was screwed shut!
Excellent parking. Two sinks, one toilet, and bins. Really great. I recommend this stop.
Quiet night in a well-equipped parking area: sanitary facilities, a dishwashing sink, and bins. Very good for a stopover when returning from Lake Mont Cenis. Thank you to the municipality.
One working toilet and sink are available. Gray-water disposal is also possible. The parking area is accessible to vehicles of all sizes.
Thanks to the municipality for still allowing people to park and spend the night here. All services used to be available. Unfortunately, many campers apparently failed to appreciate them; now everything is closed and sealed off.
Flat and perfect parking for one night. Toilets available, though not very clean, and a large sink with cold water. Service station out of order. Little traffic at night, but it starts up again from 7 a.m.
The water-filling and drainage point is closed and sealed. Parking is possible.
As of August 10, the toilets were dirty and the water was not working. The drains were closed with black tape, so I assume they are out of order. The area is slightly sloped and next to a road, so it is somewhat noisy. But for one night, it is acceptable. In my opinion, it is always better to sleep somewhere by the lake.
Thank you to the municipality for allowing us to stop here.
Convenient and free parking along the road, which is a little noisy but nothing bothersome. The village is very close. There is a convenient sink for washing dishes outside the camper. The electricity and toilet-disposal service station was closed in August 2025; only gray-water disposal is possible.
Paved parking beside the road, but there is not much traffic at night. We were able to empty gray water. There is a tap for filling water containers.
It no longer seems to be in service! The service station is covered and unusable. Parking is possible, but without services.
The toilet is dirty, but the service station does not work. Water can be collected from the tap in the little building.
Clean toilets and a water point suitable for filling the van. Bring a small adapter and enough hose to reach the van.
We spent a quiet night near the center; it is a shame that the service station is no longer active.
This morning the service station was out of order. After calling the town hall, we were told the service station had been permanently removed.
Some things cannot be denied. I do not understand why one has to give a star for a service that works anyway. The night passed peacefully, which is the most important thing. As for disposal, gray water can be emptied, and drinking water can be taken from the tap beside the bathroom. For black water, I carry a suitable container for rinsing the cassette. Excellent place.
