A quiet lakeside stop beside a former marina, with a barbecue shelter, dry toilet, bins, and walking trails along the water. Vehicle access is prohibited from 22-05, and the nights are very calm. The public beach is approximately 300 meters away, while the open area has few trees and some shade near the barbecue shelter.

Good pitch; you can be in the shade near the barbecue kiosk. Small paths run along the water, with a few friendly fishermen. Quiet at night. Dry toilets and rubbish bins.
We stayed for two nights. Very peaceful, perhaps precisely because vehicle access is prohibited from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. We saw a few fishermen, cyclists and runners. There are trails in the forest. An old boat landing. Good barbecue shelter; bring your own firewood. Plenty of space. Close to Tainionkoski. It looks like it is popular with fishermen. A public beach is nearby. Too bad we did not bring fishing gear. The large Hartola market was on at the time.
