Been here?
A free motorhome area beside the Nivernais Canal near its lock, with water, waste disposal, and electricity all free of charge. Narrow individual pitches on tarmac; morning shade, afternoon sun. Public toilets onsite. Located 100 m from pleasure-boat hire, near La Marine restaurant (bread available to order), and 20 minutes' walk from the beach. Suitable for brief stops; water tap requires a Gardena adapter for standard hoses.

Nice for a walk—20 minutes on foot to the beach. Electricity for 10 minutes at the service post, toilet and outdoor tap. Thank you for this peaceful moment.Translating
Shade in the morning, full sun in the afternoon.Translating
Very clean area. Free services. Toilets available. Narrow spaces. Full sun.Translating
Thanks to the municipality for this pleasant free area. We ate at La Marine restaurant and ordered bread.Translating
We stopped here while passing through just to use the supply and disposal facilities. Everything was clean and free! Thanks to the municipality for such a great service! Tip for fresh water: you need a male-to-male Gardena adapter, then you can connect a normal Gardena hose. You should carry this adapter in France anyway.Translating
Well-located area BUT the spaces are very narrow AND the bins are padlocked: absurd, people leave their rubbish next to them! Beware of the “geyser” water; nothing warns you that there is no way to stop or regulate the flow. There are other parking areas elsewhere that are just as pleasant.Translating
Welcoming France for campers!!! Indeed, the spaces are not very wide, but it is not a campsite either. The pitches are more than level enough. Visit La Marine; at this restaurant you can also order bread. Reasonably priced, delicious food, excellent service. Water connection tip: push the metal ring toward the post and click in a Gardena connector—yes, water! Thank you, it was magnificent!!!Translating
Currently being winterized, but well laid out and attractive, with a view over the pond.Translating
Excellent area for a stopover, with a lovely walk along the pond or canal. Right next door is La Marine inn, a restaurant and café that takes bread orders, with a very friendly owner!Translating
A beautiful, tidy camper site. Located by Lake Baye. You can take a lovely walk around the lake. There is a café, but unfortunately it was closed on Monday. Thanks to the municipality!Translating
What a shame to make an area that is so impractical. Uneven asphalt, requiring leveling wedges, and even that is not enough. The spaces at the back are impossible for two motorhomes to park in, otherwise the doors open into the bushes. Emptying is difficult to maneuver for an integrated motorhome, the yellow bins are locked, and there is no water! You can empty the toilet cassette without rinsing it, but cannot fill up—ridiculous! Excessive public lighting that serves no purpose. In short, disappointing.Translating
Wonderful place. Electricity for 10 minutes. Water button disconnected. Quiet, peaceful sleep.Translating
Very beautiful, well-maintained area, quiet, supply and disposal facilities shut down, everything closed for winter. Complete peace. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
We spent a wonderfully quiet night here and could look out at the water from bed. The only issue was that refilling the water did not work for us because we did not have the right adapter.Translating
Great place. Be aware that there is only one electrical socket for 10 minutes!! Thank you.Translating
Hello, honestly, it is excellent!! Quiet, electricity, water, emptying, a small restaurant and bar. Pure happiness. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
10:10 from us. Okay, the parking bays are not huge, but they are perfectly adequate if you are a half-decent driver. The entire area is peaceful and friendly and the local bar is wonderful. BUT… be warned that the water pressure for refilling is super-high-pressure. We will definitely return. Many thanks to the Municipality
Very pleasant overnight stop, with a working and free service post. Walking or cycling is possible. Bar and restaurant very close by. Thank you to the municipality.Translating
A lovely free site. We had a parking bay to ourselves, so it was not cramped. Toilet, supply and disposal facilities available, pleasant restaurant, and a good starting point for bike rides along the canal. Thank you to the municipality. Unfortunately, there is little like this in Germany.Translating
Hello, lovely spot near the pond and cycle path, particularly for going toward the 16 locks. Quiet, with a nice little bar. The only drawback is that the spaces are a little small. So I would rate it closer to 3.5 for that reason.Translating
Just passing through, this is not a service area but a parking lot. You leave your housing estate only to find yourself just as tightly packed, though on level ground. Some people like that......Translating
Very cramped spaces, one right next to another. Beautiful site, no electricity except at the service post, not at the spaces. Asphalt, but apart from the location, very mediocre.
Very good. We stayed two quiet nights. We cycled past about twenty locks along the canal. Trail around the lake. However, the spaces are clean and paved but not wide at all. It is difficult to open your door when parked side by side.
We arrived this evening... there is no electricity. Be careful if, like us, you need it. Otherwise, a good paved spot, with beautiful views and lovely walks.
Thank you for these clean services with adjacent free aire beside the lake and canal system. You will need a bayonet fitting for the water which is under considerable pressure - enjoy your shower (as I did!!!).
Very beautiful, brand-new site with a free service post. However, the water connection requires a special fitting; we were still able to refill using our solar shower. Grey- and black-water emptying worked without problems. The spaces are primarily intended for cars, but motorhomes and vans can park there. The rubbish containers are locked. Thank you to the municipality.
Superb place with its two ponds and walks around the canals and locks. A little corner of paradise.
Very clean place; you can cycle along the canal and sleep peacefully for several days.
Great place by the water. Shade under the trees. Spacious pitches. Free emptying and water filling. Clean toilets. You can get a pizza on the corner, and there is also a hair salon.
Pleasant place beside the water and a shaded park. You can cycle on the greenway and get your hair done at the charming salon right next door. Minor drawbacks: a single electrical post that needs resetting every two minutes, and large locked rubbish bins... everyone leaves their bags beside them.
Superb spot, everything free. One socket only and many cars. Otherwise, thank you to the municipality.
lovely spot. peaceful, a really beautiful setting and completely free. yes there is only one electric hook up and as others have pointed out, you need a special connector for the water but fellow camper vanners were there to help out. thank you to the local council for providing this facility.
Lovely, peaceful place by the lake. Parking spaces are somewhat narrow and not clearly marked as exclusive to campers. The water connection is unusual and can only be used by attaching a male quick connector, like those used for garden hoses. But everything is free—thank you!
Beautiful place by the water. The downside is that the large rubbish containers are locked, apparently, so nobody can dispose of their waste properly. Fresh water requires a special connection that we had never seen before. Toilets and grey-water emptying are easy. Spaces are somewhat tight, and you really should not park in front of the electricity connection—one hookup for 12 spaces. Everything is free and peaceful.
Beautiful place with a lovely view. Too bad there is only one electrical hookup for 12 spaces. Otherwise, a quiet and peaceful place, with a very pleasant little bar and restaurant.
We have come here several times. The spaces are very good; the surrounding infrastructure is average, but you cannot expect five-star facilities when everything is available for free. We did not eat at the restaurant next door, but having tried it before, it is well worth a visit.
Thanks to the municipality for this area. There is one electrical socket, but it can be shared using a power strip; however, it needs resetting every quarter of an hour with a small button behind the post. There is also a restaurant nearby that I recommend: welcoming staff, very good food, and lots of regional products and more.
Parking is nothing special, with little space between the bays, but it is very quiet and pleasant for walking around the lake!
