City parking, paid daytime

Convenient parking for visiting Oslo, right next to the park. Free at night and very little noise.

This car park is very well located next to Frogner Park. We parked on the side so our van did not extend beyond the markings. We paid until 8 p.m. and again from 9 a.m. the next day. The police checked every car at 9:08 a.m.! Since it was Saturday evening, around midnight all the parked cars left at the same time, so there was a little noise.

Perfect for parking a 7.5-meter motorhome and spending a day in the city. Plenty of space, with availability all day. Metro nearby, as well as many shared scooters and bicycles. You can reach the city in under 10 minutes by scooter.

Quiet. Right next to the park. Toilets in the park. Free at night. €50 for 9 hours.

The location is perfect! Very quiet at night, and being directly next to the excellent Vigeland Park is a major advantage. Tram and metro are five minutes away, and the castle is ten minutes away. I spent two relaxing nights here. Access with a 6-meter vehicle is no problem; larger vehicles were parked here too.

Great parking lot. Free in the evening and on Sundays. Better for vans than big campers, I would be mindful of being less obvious that you’re spending the night. Toilets are a 10 min walk away in the park.

Great parking lot. Free from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. and on Sundays. Directly by the park, where you can go jogging beautifully. The lot is quite empty in the evening; during the day, be careful not to get boxed in, as the parking spaces in the middle are narrow. It is better to park around the outside. Just pay attention when choosing your spot.

Sunday morning at 8 a.m.: almost alone in this parking area, and when I paid at the machine it even told me 0 NOK until the next morning! Right at the entrance to Vigeland Park—excellent.

Perfect place to visit Oslo and spend the night. We stayed from Sunday (free) until Monday noon and then paid about €40. Not cheap, but considering the location, and we felt very safe. Girls jog alone through the adjacent park at night. If we return to Oslo, we will stay here again.

Free on Sunday! We had no problem parking our 6.10 m motorhome, reversing in. The parking area is quite busy, but spaces turn over. Be careful: noon seems to be peak time on Sundays; there was no space left.

We arrived at the car park on Monday shortly after 8 p.m. and had a good choice of larger free spaces. With our 6.40 m vehicle, we tucked ourselves away fairly far back and spent the night for free (8 p.m.–9 a.m.). The next morning, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., we bought a ticket by credit card to explore the city, but the car park was then completely packed.

We spent a Saturday afternoon here. A good parking area for visiting the park.

We had a perfect night on Sunday. We left before 9 a.m. so it was free :)

Great parking to go by bike or tram to the center, also nice park with beautiful scultpures. However still very expensive (but the whole city is so…).

if you have a big vehicle, this spot is no good. the carpark is small and compact, on a slope in places and there are virtually no spaces suitable for longer vehicles

We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and the night is free. We spent the night perfectly, apart from some people who showed up around 4 a.m. probably to snort something. It is a little uneven, but otherwise close to the city, 10 minutes by bike from the center. Good place for one night and to visit Oslo.

The place is good for parking and walking into the city. Payment is via app. For vehicles over 6 m it becomes difficult: the parking spaces are very small, and when the car park is full it is hard to get out. I was there on a Saturday for 2.5 hours. The car park was fairly occupied in the afternoon. It is also somewhat sloped.

Difficult to find a place for a 7-meter motorhome without sticking out beyond the lines. Great for sleeping on Saturday night and staying on Sunday, since it is free. A lot of traffic noise all night.

We spent 2 nights there. Super spot, 15 min door to door from city center through bus or tram. however was closing when we left tonight for an event in Vigelandsparken in coming days. Free on Sundays but a bit more noisy with people going home after party and early joggers.

Great parking for Oslo. We found some larger spots good for vans along the edge next to the park. It was very quiet and next to a huge beautiful park. We cycled to the Palace and harbour easily, with good safe cycle lanes. Free parking on Sundays.

We spent two nights there, from Saturday evening at 8 p.m. until Monday morning at 9 a.m., for zero euros. Considering Oslo prices, it is a fairly attractive option.

We spent the night here for free because we arrived after 8 p.m. There were still enough spaces available, and larger motorhomes can park along the edge. The walk in the large park was great, and it was quiet at night too.

Quite expensive parking, 261 NOK for 4.5 hours. No spaces reserved for long vehicles. Right next to the park and tram.

Large car park at Vigeland Park, with good public transport connections. You can also reach the city center, harbor, or palace on foot within 40–45 minutes. In winter, the car park is cleared, so you can park there without problems. Free on Sundays and public holidays; otherwise somewhat expensive at 54 NOK per hour.
