Been here?
A basic waterside motorhome parking area beside the harbor, offering excellent views and a short walk to the harbor, old town, and city center. Overnight parking costs 10€ per night, electricity costs 1 EUR for 2KW, and fresh water costs 1 EUR for 2 minutes, approximately 20 liters; payment is cash only. A clean mobile toilet is available, and the industrial harbor setting can be either appealing or unattractive depending on preference.

Great motorhome area if you have everything with you. The spot's appeal lies in its magnificent view.
Parking spaces directly along the harbor edge or set a little farther back. Only a few minutes' walk to HafenCity. The price is completely reasonable: €10 per night for a motorhome. Payment at the machine (cash only). Fresh water was easy to get and not a rip-off: connect the hose, pay, press the button, and the water flows. The site manager is always helpful! We will be back!
Perfectly fine for one night. The location is great. You are quickly at the harbor and in the middle of everything. We would gladly return. Payment at the machine is cash only.
The site is not beautiful; those who like an industrial harbor atmosphere will enjoy it. The operator is nice. In addition to €10 for overnight stays, he charges €1 for 2 kWh, but we find what he charges for fresh water outrageous: €1 for 2 minutes, about 20 liters!!! What a shame—he is a motorhomer himself and should understand that such profiteering is not well received!
The city center is easily reachable on foot. We stayed here to visit the Ozeaneum and the Maritime Museum. There was no closer place for motorhomes. The portable toilet was clean and can also be used.
A great motorhome site; we arrived shortly before midnight and were warmly welcomed. Electricity and water are available if needed. The morning view is simply wonderful. It is not far to the city and is excellent for one or two nights. The site is quiet and clean. We would gladly return.
We stayed here one night to explore the city. The harbor atmosphere did not bother us; instead, the location right on the water was very pleasant, and the city could easily be reached on foot.
I think €10 per night is great for this location. No charm, no beautiful surroundings. Fresh water costs €1 and only runs for about two minutes. That is far too expensive.
Cool spot by the water with a view of the bridge. We only stopped here for a snack, but we would stay overnight anytime.
Perfect for the short walk into the city center. We were in the front row. Rustic but quiet at night. The operator is currently working on the disposal station, so it should be finished soon. Thanks for the uncomplicated motorhome site.
Great place, especially if you can stand in one of the lower spaces. The beautiful city, Ozeaneum, and harbor are easily reachable on foot. Ideal for bike tours into the surrounding area and to the island of Rügen. Very accommodating site manager. We would gladly return :)
The site is good for exploring the city on foot. The spaces are absolutely fine for the price. After heavy rain, some spaces are 2–3 cm underwater, and the water does not drain. I had to wade through it in flip-flops.
We used the site only as a parking area to visit the city and were satisfied. The location is excellent, and the city is an easy ten-minute walk away. You pay at the machine in the parking area. The site is clean and safe, as harbor staff were constantly present. Unfortunately, there was no bin on site.
Industrial parking-lot atmosphere among scrap heaps and construction materials. Uninviting. We drove on immediately.
Great place, and the beautiful city is easily reachable on foot. It has everything you need... we would gladly return :)
Simple site on concrete slabs in the industrial harbor, but very well located. About an eight-minute walk to the old harbor and Ozeaneum, which is worth visiting. Everything is quickly reachable by bike. We briefly spoke with the very nice operator, who immediately exchanged a note for coins. You need €10 in coins for the parking machine.
Completely fine for one night.
A very well-located motorhome site on an old industrial property with a view of the Strelasund. The very friendly owner saved us the trip to the machine and told us about the history of the area. First choice for visiting the fish sandwich boats, the Ozeaneum, and the old town.
After a phone call, we stayed on the grounds from April 14 to 16. Everything was as stated. Very nice, extremely helpful operator. Thank you for letting us stay with you.
Everything was as stated—a very friendly welcome from Frank, even though the site is not officially open yet and is still full of yachts. Pleasant conversations with boat owners, who gave valuable tips. It can get noisy in the morning because it is in the middle of an industrial area. Otherwise, very quiet and safe.
Despite the winter closure, we were allowed to spend the night here. Thank you very much for the friendly conversation and the kind wishes for a pleasant night.
Although the site is actually closed, Frank made it possible for us to stay here. Thank you for that. Paid €10 at the machine; everything was fine. We like the cool industrial style. Regards, Peter.
We had overlooked that the site is only available until mid-October because the boats overwinter there. Nevertheless, they offered us a small space in the evening, allowing us to spend the night and conveniently explore Stralsund and the Ozeaneum the next day. Many thanks for the flexibility and helpfulness; it truly saved our stay!
Good location. Navigation at night is difficult among the yachts, especially for inexperienced drivers. Remember to bring coins to pay!!! P.S. Maybe add the option to pay by card or at least with banknotes.
Great place for one of our nights, right by the old town with a view of the Rügen Bridge and a very special industrial harbor charm. It was very quiet. The boats are currently being brought in, so the site was divided. The machine worked perfectly, and we save small change for exactly this situation anyway. We did not need any services and are happily moving on. Many thanks to the operator.
Nice site manager. He immediately helped when the parking machine “swallowed” the money but did not issue a ticket. We stayed here from Saturday to Sunday. View of the bridge, although we heard fairly loud party music, probably from the adjacent hostel. Our kids are not very sensitive to noise, so we still had a good night. The site is now occupied by boats in October. Nevertheless, there is still room!
Super quiet and plenty of space. There must be room for 20 to 30 vehicles here. The other site was overcrowded, so we drove here. The site operator is very nice, and the coins are not a problem either. We will definitely return.
€10, close to the city—that works. The night was quiet. We first had to stock up on coins at the brewery so we could pay the machine.
Very quiet at night. Nice view of the Rügen Bridge. Currently somewhat difficult to access because of construction. Clean portable toilet available. €10 for 24 hours.
We drove to the site to visit the Ozeaneum, 800 meters away. Have change ready! It is difficult to find because of the construction. Thanks for the information.
I can only agree with the previous reviewers: view of the Rügen Bridge, quiet night, close to the center and Ozeaneum. Great value for parking, water (not used), and overnight stays, with electricity and a portable toilet available. The operator is also very friendly. Clear recommendation!
