51C Lugar Barrio la Reineta, 48520, Trapagaran
Been here?
A spacious mountain picnic spot with an exceptional view over Bilbao and the water, where overnight stays can be very quiet. Picnic tables are available, while cows, horses, donkeys, and other livestock share the area. Arrive through La Reineta using the narrow downhill paved road; other mapped routes may be impassable, and vehicles can become bogged down.

The view is amazing, and we spent a very quiet night with the nice sound of cow bells and a far away fireworks show in the city. As many comments say (thank tou) you need to arrive to Larreineta and follow maps from there, it's a narrow downhill paved road, not very long, that leads you to a big, open picnic area. Very recommended. Translating
The view is magnificent. We woke up among the cows. However, be careful where you park, because we got stuck in the mud. Fortunately, we quickly received help.Translating
if you ride a dirt road, the navigator leads through it, most likely you will not be able to pass, along the way there is a stream with a difference in altitude, we did not go around on the other sideTranslating
A very pleasant place with a superb view over the city of Bilbao. Cows were there when we arrived, with a few bells during the night but nothing disturbing. Hikers appeared early in the morning, not all of them smiling. An ideal place for breakfast in the sun at one of the perfectly positioned picnic tables.Translating
Superb view. The place is easily accessible if you arrive through the village of La Reineta, where the funicular ends. Quiet. Just be careful with your dogs, as the area is shared with cows, lots of cow pats, donkeys and horses.Translating
Coming from Bilbao below, do not turn left onto the dirt road halfway up. Instead, go through the village and into a dead end. Use pedestrian navigation, since Google does not route cars this way, rightly so. The road then leads downhill and becomes increasingly narrow. After the cattle gate, there are another 100 meters over rough ground. We arrived here at midnight.Translating
Incredible spot in the mountains with a breathtaking view! In the morning we were treated to a flock of sheep and its shepherd. Very calm and peaceful. Follow the paved roads to get there!Translating
Perfect place! We spent one night there, surrounded by cows in the evening, while horses and sheep greeted us in the morning. Lovely view of Bilbao harbor. Please leave the place clean! The best approach is from above through the village of La Reineta. The road is good, and you drive up the mountain into the village on a paved road. Do not follow Google Maps navigation; navigate independently.Translating
Incredibly beautiful, with lots of space, but please do not drive up from below! Google Maps sent me along an impossible route. Drive all the way up the mountain and stay on the good roads, then it may work. And watch out for cow dung, haha.Translating
we didn't reach the place cause the google maps road from bilbo was too hard to drive with a normal car( steep and narrow). though the place is cool with lots of spot and a nice view of the city!! Translating
