A quiet natural parking area beside a lake, with several bays and opportunities for fishing, walking, and relaxing. Recent information says the access is complicated and recommends the merendero parking unless you have a 4x4. The area has been reported as peaceful, although rubbish has also been noted. Conditions and facilities may differ from the older description.

This picnic area no longer exists; I did not find a proper motorhome site. It is better opposite, by the jetty. Access via the main road, then turn left towards the chapel/hermitage and drive all the way to the lake. The Guardia Civil greeted us kindly.
