Seaside parking, sunset views

We just spent the night here. Just amazing view with wave sounds. Slept better than ever!

We spent two wonderful nights here. On both nights another camper was with us. No GNR came by. It was beautifully quiet at night, and in the evening locals might come to watch the sunset or go fishing.

Was a lovely spot to watch sunset, but around 8 when we were inside for the night, we heard a car door bang very close to our van and footsteps walking past. On inspection a car had parked right up to the back of our van and a male was in the car (engine off) seemed very shook that we were inside our van, shouted something to someone and drove off at some speed. We left immediately.

Great spot for one night! We were able to watch the sunset, which was magnificent. A fairly quiet night; the slight road noise is masked by the sound of the waves. There were five vans.

Magnificent spot! Certainly a little close to the road, but with a view of the sea and the sound of the waves. That makes up for it. Quite clean, too. We recommend it.

Place with a sea view, close to the beach and the village, without water or dumping facilities. Do not litter the place.

Have stayed here multiple times and it’s so beautiful. Please clean up your trash and if you have the time (i bet you do) also fill up a bag with other people’s trash.

Great place, well secluded and peaceful for spending the night listening to the waves breaking on the rocks.

A lovely quiet spot for the night with stunning view of the sunset. We were the only ones here overnight. Walked into Praia das Macas where there are bars, restaurants and a small supermarket.

It is not really welcome to stay here in the evening with a camper or motorhome. A police patrol came by and told us that staying for one night was okay, but only as an exception. Otherwise a nice pitch; even now at the beginning of November, a few other people are staying here with us, so it is probably also busy here in summer.

Magnificent view, but a suspicious-looking man came to park right next to us early in the night. We preferred to change spots.

Great place with a view of the sea. We were there with a few other campers. The road leading there has some potholes, so drive slowly.

We stayed in the area where the red car from the photos is parked. It was very quiet and beautiful. We had a great view! Locals came by from time to time, but that was not disturbing. Another camper spent the night with us. The road was barely audible; it was very quiet at night.

Quiet place, very beautiful views. There are not many parking spaces, but before or after it along the road there are more spots.

Actually a beautiful place with a bumpy access road. Unfortunately, it is now very littered. Lots of toilet paper and other rubbish in the bushes. One wonders how long people will still be allowed to stay here with such behaviour.

Incredible spot facing the ocean. Amazing sunset. Very quiet night, with only the ocean. Access to Praia das Maçãs beach is very quick via the GR trail. Access to the ocean bar and pool is also via the GR trail. Top-notch.

A dirt area with a special charm, a peaceful and spectacular place. The sunset is incredible.
