Been here?
This free, flat gravel spot lies directly beside the Danube under a motorway bridge and offers good access to the water. The gravel approach remains passable in heavy rain but becomes dirty, while motorway noise is clearly present. Recent visitors found plenty of room, although construction vehicles and uncomfortable encounters have made some people leave. Water levels can rise significantly after heavy rain.

Good free place for several motorhomes to spend the night. Access via a gravel road—muddy in heavy rain, but still easily passable. Due to its location directly beneath the motorway bridge, it is relatively noisy.Translating
Good place for the night. Access to the river. The motorway noise is noticeable but bearable. The night was quiet.Translating
Not recommended. There are many construction vehicles under the bridge, and you have to drive all the way to the back to find a spot. At night there was also a man there, alone with his car. We felt very uncomfortable and drove on.Translating
The atmosphere of the place was strange and deserted. I was alone there. A man drove up and remained literally a couple of metres from my camper for nearly an hour, smoking, drinking beer, and nervously scanning around him as if waiting for someone. That unnerved me and I drove away. In my opinion, not a place for single women. Beautiful but ambiguous spot. Highway noise too loud for me.Translating
Useful after visiting Rastibone.Translating
Very good for the time of year; we were completely alone, with people only on the opposite riverbank. Easy to reach, suitable for vehicles of all sizes, lots of space, and a beautiful view of the cliffs. Well, the motorway... For us in a T4, it was completely fine at night; a little annoying during breakfast in the morning.Translating
Beautiful spot, the motorway noise is minimal! I recommend it.Translating
Lovely striking spot with direct access to the river, big bridge overhead and some local fisherman. Eventually some farm machinery started up, and families came to swim but we enjoyed it before that. Translating
Around five minutes from the motorway; a great, clean spot, partly gravel and partly grass. You can of course hear the motorway, but in a converted panel van it is more of a background hum. At least on Saturdays, small motorboats travel along the Danube from 9:30 a.m.Translating
Absolutely fantastic spot! One star deducted because of the motorway noise, which was absolutely fine for us. Note: please use Google Maps and not Apple Maps, otherwise you will not find the place.Translating
Lots of space, but the bridge is very loud. It felt a little too remote for us. Probably not bad during the day.Translating
Nice approach and a clean pitch, somewhat secluded but still close to Sinzing. However, note that it is directly on the Danube and the water level rises after heavy rain. In the morning we were practically standing in the Danube, and luckily we woke up in time. In good, dry weather this place is perfect. The motorway was loud, but people nearby were more annoying.Translating
If the background noise from the motorway bridge at night does not bother you, this is the place for you. Secluded, gravelled spot with a view of the Danube. Unfortunately, we were unlucky at night, as locals also come here. In our case, teenagers arrived in a car, playing loud music, smoking or vaping cannabis, drinking beer, and throwing the empty bottles straight into nature.Translating
Great spot by the river, not visible from the road and almost no passage. The road is a bit noisy but not to much. Translating
