Been here?
A small, quiet car park beside Rokua National Park, offering direct access to hiking trails and nearby lakes. Overnight parking costs 5€ per night, and there is a dry toilet, fire place and picnic table but no other amenities. Access is via a 10km gravel track with potholes, which has recently been impassable for vans. The parking area can fill quickly with local visitors.

Quiet place. Dry toilet available. Fire pit. They charge €5 per night.
We spent a very peaceful night in this parking area, which has no facilities but does have a very practical picnic table! The track is in good condition (perhaps better in summer than in autumn...). There are several lakes nearby, allowing us to look for moose in the evening and go mountain biking as well as hiking. The nature is magnificent and very peaceful! Not a sound!
The road was not passable by van yesterday: deep, soft potholes. We had to reverse out for 1 km.
A 10 km gravel track leads to the tiny camping spot. Once there, you are greeted by 3 billion mosquitoes. The tracks are okay, but in my opinion the effort and mosquitoes are not worth it.
After 10 km on a pothole-filled track, you reach the very small parking area, which can quickly fill up with locals. Beautiful hike starting in a magnificent park.
Very nice and peaceful place, without facilities but in beautiful surroundings, ideal for spending the night before setting off on a trail through the park.
Small parking area in the middle of the forest, starting point for walking or cycling routes, silence and peace, a restful night.
