Lake parking, noisy road

This is a parking area on a short section of the old road between two lakes. It offers beautiful lake and mountain views, with access to very clean lake water. The nearby road can be busy and noisy, especially from fast lorries, though overnight traffic is usually lighter.

On a short section of old road that has been bypassed by a newer bridge. only 20-25 metres from the road so can be a bit noisy when lorries thunder through. Fortunately not many overnight. Fairly exposed. Better than most of the layby parkups on this section of road. Great views of the lake and parts of the wild plateau
Good for a night, busy road during day but only rare car at night. Great views and access to very clean lake water.
Level place with a few beautiful viewpoints nearby. In summer there is a lot of traffic on the road. The lorries in particular drive very fast, making it repeatedly very noisy at night as well. If that does not bother you, the place is suitable for one night.
A little beside the road, although you can of course still hear the cars. If you are somewhat tolerant of noise, it is perfectly fine. The gravel area is fairly flat. Beautiful views of the surrounding lakes and mountains.
Unfortunately, it is not always snow-free. At the moment, everything has been piled up by the snowploughs.
One of the few places that is cleared in winter but is not directly beside the road, where traffic rushes past right in front of you. You are also not parked quite as crookedly as in the many lay-bys.
