You can hardly get closer to Lake Dümmer. Friendly staff at the snack bar for registration. When we arrived and wanted to pay, the first question was: Have you checked whether anything is still available? I replied that it still looked good. Then €6 and enjoy your stay. What more could you want...

Super nice, wonderful, warm-hearted staff. We (2 adults and 3 children) were warmly welcomed spontaneously in the evening even though the site was full. Thankfully, we were given an alternative spot directly in front. Public toilet, very quiet, playgrounds within sight, and the lake two minutes away—ideal for us! Excellent for €6 per night! We will definitely come back! The disposal facilities are currently being rebuilt.

Good spot, perfectly located for bike rides around Lake Dümmer. €6 including electricity—perfect. WARNING: the disposal station in the parking lot beforehand is NO LONGER usable, and tokens can no longer be purchased.

Perfect spot with clean public toilets. They are freely accessible during the restaurant's opening hours. Plenty of room for about 20 campers. Free electricity connection! And all for €6. I felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

The parking area at Schomakers is easy to reach. Not spectacular, but perfectly fine for the price and almost directly beside the beautiful lake.

We stayed here with our small camper for two nights. Great location, friendly operators, and delicious food in the restaurant. ☺️ A place to escape everyday life and relax. Cost: €5 per night (as of July 2025).

The parking lot is very quiet and surrounded by bushes and trees. It is also very close to the lake. It is a very beautiful area to go for walks or even bike rides. It just can get a bit muddy.

We have been here before and are happy to return to this pleasant natural spot and enjoy delicious fish at the lakeside kiosk. Thank you also for the friendly welcome.

Right by the renovated Olga harbor. Despite many signs at the entrances saying that the parking area is closed, this does not apply to this spot. It is very basic but inexpensive, especially for those who have already paid a lot for sanitation in their vehicles.

We were here for the weekend and felt very comfortable. The food is also highly recommended.

Small parking area for motorhomes, partly gravel and partly grass. Nice, friendly owner. €5 per night including electricity. You can eat well at the attached restaurant.

Very quiet spot for about 15 vehicles. Electricity connections are available and already included in the €5 parking fee. A visit to Schomakers' fish shack is highly recommended: good, tasty food at genuinely fair prices.

A lovely parking area next to the fish smokehouse and restaurant. We spent a very quiet night here. The food is especially recommended, with fair prices. Thank you for the space and the incredibly delicious food. We will gladly come back. And one more thing: only here were people particularly friendly; at Hoffmann's next door, that leaves something to be desired.

We spent one night here as travelers passing through on October 3, 2024. Water is also available at the Aal Hoffmann restaurant; bring a canister. Very friendly service. A long power cable could be useful. The annual fun run around the lake took place here on this public holiday. It was very quiet at night, though. We would gladly return for a longer stay and a bike ride around the lake.

The right side is muddy when it rains; otherwise, it is very nice. The sockets powered our 1,000-watt hair dryer. A lovely little spot—I will come back.
