This tarmac picnic area is shaded and has picnic tables, with no parking limitation or services. It is sloped, but convenient for visiting the nearby château and town during the day. The road is very busy, so it is not suitable for a quiet overnight stay.

A very pleasant lunch break in the shade at picnic tables. A digestive walk to the castle right next door, very pretty—I recommend it!
Good for a snack break! The area is well protected.
On a very hot day, the parking area gave us a shaded place to park for the day. It is sloping, however, but perfect for a picnic (tables along the parking area) and visiting the castle for an afternoon.
Paved, sloping parking area with green space, a picnic table, and shade. Probably well located, but we only stopped briefly.
Nothing extraordinary, but good for visiting the town and its castle. We did not sleep there; it is too close to the road.
