Been here?
A calm, flat overnight spot near the Chadayre trail departures, with views of Murol Castle. There are no services, and the nearby road is generally quiet at night, with birds and cowbells audible. The area is sunny during the day but becomes shaded and cooler from 18h. The path leads down directly to Murol Castle; do not use the descending road, which is signposted one-way.

Quiet and flat place for the night. Traffic on the nearby road is not bothersome. The path downhill leads directly to Murol Castle, which is worth visiting. A little farther down is the hamlet of Chautignat, where you can buy Saint-Nectaire cheese directly from the farm (€23). Hiking trail to the Rajat caves, with troglodyte dwellings.
Great place in nature, but no services.
Not bad for one night. Clean on arrival and departure. Full sun during the day, but shade and coolness from 6 p.m. Sunrise in front of you in the morning. The road is quiet at night. You only hear birds and cowbells. Very easy to level.
For vans only. Do not take the road downhill; it is one-way in the wrong direction. Very dusty, in full sun, and not very clean.
It is not the best view, but it is good for spending the night and is still far enough from the road for children and dogs. A beautiful hike leads to Murol Castle at the bottom of the path.
Very good spot, easy to find. You cannot hear the road above. Good phone network. We spent a pleasant night here.
Beautiful flat place with a view of the valley and Murol Castle through the gaps in the trees. Large, level space. Quiet night. However, you can hear the road above in the morning.
No entry except for residents to access this place.
Very quiet parking area, ideal for spending the night. A few kilometres from Murol Castle. Maximum three motorhomes.
We had a good, peaceful night. There were two of us in the area.
Very beautiful spot, with room for up to three motorhomes.
