Been here?
Peaceful parking beside an unused church, with flat spaces, stone picnic tables, shade and wide views over Braga. Access is via a bumpy dirt or paved track, and vehicles over 2.5m are restricted. Church bells ring until 22:00 and resume at 7:00, while occasional evening activity is usually limited.

Noisy in the early evening, with locals coming and going until midnight. A beautiful view. The church bells do ring, but the break between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. allows you to rest.
Stayed right behind the church (a short dirt road that was an easy climb for a Ford Ducato) and enjoyed the views and vibe. The bells ring until 10pm and from 7am. Some interesting birds around. A few people and cars at night but nothing substantial.
The sunset is stunnning there A group of people came to sing in the curch so we had a private concert. The bells ring at 22:00 the last time and start at 7:00 again We were the only ones sleeping in the car there and around midnight a few teenagers came with their car but we hardly heard them.
June 15, all alone in this ideal setting, with several flat spaces scattered around and a view over the valley. At the foot of the church or below it. Stone tables. Quiet area, with fantastic sunsets and sunrises.
Great spot with a beautiful view. Quiet night. The bell of this abandoned sanctuary stops at 9 p.m. and starts again at 8 a.m. We parked our van about 50 m from the small chapel, on fairly flat ground. There are indeed a few tissues with poop on them... not a problem. Very little traffic on the road. Where we parked, we were sheltered from noise and view. Very variable 4G.
Height restriction, not for vehicles over 2.5 m.
Great place to spend the night. Awesome sunset view! I can recommend it.
Quiet under the cork oaks, easier to access from the Dona Julia restaurant. Very pretty chapel and nice view over Braga.
The spot is at the fountain to the right of the hotel. Stop before the entrance.
Very quiet, although the main road is not far away. You can let the dogs off leash, which is great.
Incredibly beautiful.
Parked for one night behind the church. Quiet, unless you dislike being woken at 8 a.m. by the sound of a church bell. Continue along the paved path to reach the flat areas behind the church. Daytime parking for walkers, but we were alone at night.
A very beautiful view, admittedly, but it is at the church, not at the parking area. Not peaceful at all; it is a busy road. There is a dirt track, but it is very difficult to access and not recommended for motorhomes or vans. You even wonder whether you are allowed to access it.
Quiet place with plenty of space; we only slept there.
Good place. I cleaned the area around where I parked—about thirty tissues, underwear, and so on. Very good for staying cool and in the shade. Peaceful. Don't come here to work, as the 4G coverage is poor.
Great spot! I spent two nights completely alone. Two or three cars came by late in the evening, but it was absolutely quiet.
An unobstructed view over Braga and the entire surrounding area! Very quiet place for dinner at the granite tables, with magnificent scenery. A few people passed through in the evening and at night to meet up. We were a little out of the way and sheltered from view, and nobody bothered us. At weekends, the small restaurant near the chapel is open until 7 p.m.; afterward, the site empties out!
