Gravel parking, road noise

€8 for 24 hours must be paid at the machine, either in cash or by card. It is a gravel parking area belonging to a business. It is not really attractive and the road is clearly audible. There is no shade. Nevertheless, it is a good option, as it is difficult to find an affordable place in this region. From here, we were able to continue hiking around Lake Chiemsee.

The night was excellent. Quiet, with hardly any traffic noise from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. The price is €8 for 24 hours.

We were there and wanted to book for the night for €8. The machine required a minimum payment of €20.

We found it perfect here. The owner was super friendly. From here, you can quickly reach the lake and take great tours. The road did not bother us; that is a matter of personal preference. A completely full campsite would bother us more. Many thanks, and we would gladly come back.

I thought it was perfect. The lakeshore is only a few minutes' walk away. It is enjoyable to stay here. You can go on great bike rides. There are many leisure activities nearby, such as stand-up paddleboarding and boat trips to Herreninsel. The road noise did not bother me personally.

Paid parking, €8 for 24 hours, by the road. About a 10-minute walk to the beach with a kiosk. There are toilets and cold-water showers there. Some traffic can be heard at night. Fine for one night.

Right on the main road. No view of anything except derelict buildings. Perhaps the only option there, but definitely not inviting.

Nice parking area for short-term camping. Great beach with a kiosk, beach shower and toilets about 15 minutes' walk away. €8 per 24 hours for camping, payable at the parking meter. The through road is relatively busy during the day, but quiet enough at night.

All the campsites were full, so we were glad to find a parking area where campers are allowed. Absolutely sufficient for one night, and excellent for €8.

The restaurant has been closed since 29 August 2022 and is advertised for lease.
