This is a free car park 5 minutes from Chimay centre, where overnight parking is generally possible. It has no services, although small bins are available, and a nearby campsite offers water and waste disposal for €5. Traffic can be noisy, especially from early morning. Parking is prohibited from midnight Thursday until 14.00.

It is a car park, but shorter vehicles can easily find a space; ours was 6.6 m. There are no services. The center is five minutes away; we stayed only to visit the village.
Large open car park, no problem for larger vans. Lots of traffic noise. Small bins available. No services. Pleasant tho non descript village with lovely church. . Went to nearby campsite for water and dump (€5)
We spent a peaceful night, despite some car noise. If it rains, try not to park under the trees because there will be more noise... Otherwise, it is a good place to spend the night, with services nearby, in the town center.
If you are looking for peace and quiet at night, avoid it. Traffic starts at 5 a.m., and this morning the municipal services were mowing at 7 a.m. The advantage is that it is well positioned for visiting the town.
