Paid parking, steep access

We have a camper that is 7.6 m long. It was a bit of a mission getting there as the roads are pretty windy but we managed. The only real issue was our GPS wanted to take us over smaller roads. Stick to the larger roads where possible. It was a parking lot. It was quiet. They were very helpful and it was perfect for what we needed. It was 50€ for a night. They can take you to town as well

The road is more than frightening, and if getting there is bad, leaving is worse. You reach a point where there is nothing else but this parking lot, and since it was already fully dark, they told us that campers were not allowed and we could not sleep there. Seeing how stressed we were at the thought of having to leave after the difficult journey, they offered to let us sleep there for €50, although the 24-hour rate is €20. We left.

You won't find a better place in the area to be quiet and close to a village of the Cinque Terre. We did not use the campsite in Monterosso. €30 (€20 + €10) for 24 hours including the night. 15 minutes on foot. Very friendly managers. Free shuttle to and from the village for those who want it. Very steep going down, but manageable.

Good place to park. €2.50 an hour now and we weren’t offered a shuttle down but it was about 20 minutes walk to the centre of town and up was about 25. The road to the car park is quite steep and very very bendy loads of hair pins there is also only one way in or out so if you struggle to get down you won’t get up. We snarled out way up with a 3t van with no turbo it was first gear the whole way.

Everything is good except that motorhome access is restricted; small vans are fine.

We stayed overnight in private parking with blue lines, free until 8 a.m., and then moved to the road with white lines. It worked well, but it is farther from the village.

One of the only two paid parking areas closest to Vernazza. The closer access is now reserved for residents, so it is a dead end. The parking costs €50 per day for our 6-meter-long, 2.7-meter-high van. With this size, staying for less time to pay less is not allowed. So we found a space along the final meters of the road afterward. Yellow markings are reserved for residents.

Very nice parking attendants. I was skeptical because I was the only female camper, but they assured me that it was safe here and offered to leave all the lights on instead of just one so I would feel more comfortable.

Very warm welcome and close to Vernazza with a free shuttle, but VERY expensive. With a 7-meter motorhome, it costs €40 for the day and €50 including the night, with no services. Wi-Fi is available, but there is no phone signal. The final 4 km are very narrow and steep. We managed with 7 meters, but the brakes smelled burnt at the end, and if we had to do it again, we would not. The other road toward Levanto is apparently worse.

Car park 20 minutes' walk from Vernazza. €20 for all-day parking, and the attendant was happy for us to stay overnight. Gates are locked from midnight until 7 or 8 a.m. However, we were woken early by the bins being emptied.

We found everything great here. It is not too far from town on foot.

Warning: from the junction for Fernazza, there are 3.5 km of very narrow and steep road, with no possibility of turning around once you enter it. Not recommended for campers over 5 meters.
