One night van parking with three persons £50 —the most expensive campsite of our trip to UK. In the middle of nowhere, uncomfortable and long footpath to the beach and Folkestone. Nice coast view only from the café terrace, old moldy sanitary facilities. Nice campsite with an outrageous price.

We tried to reach someone all day. Unsuccessfully. They could simply have said on the phone that the site was fully booked. The owner was also rather arrogant on the phone! Very disappointing!✦Translating

Very friendly welcome, beautiful view, super quiet and comfortable stay. I didn’t use the facilities other than toilets which were absolutely fine, a short walk from the pitches. Ideal for a quick stopover before an early start at the Eurotunnel 10 mins away.

The location is as described and very beautiful. The employee is very friendly and helpful. However, the price of £35 for two people and one dog is excessive, since the sanitary facilities need renovation and should be heated. There are nicer campsites in England with modern facilities that are cheaper.✦Translating

Very nice campsite, well located for the shuttle. Lovely walks nearby, and the campsite restaurant's breakfast is excellent, with a magnificent view as well. Yes, the sanitary facilities are outdated, but they were not dirty, and Tony's welcome, even though we had not booked, together with the staff's kindness, fully deserves 4 stars! Unfortunately, this campsite was a disappointment. The sanitary facilities were in poor condition. There were no toilet brushes in any of the stalls, and the toilets looked accordingly. Showers and sinks weren’t much better. The pitches were overgrown and looked neglected. Despite advertising a view of the coast, there was nothing to see. At €40 per night, we expected a much higher standard.

On our journey through England, this was our first stop. Anyone wishing to visit the town on foot or by bicycle should be prepared for steeper roads and paths. There is also a bus. The campsite staff were very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are adequate and serve their purpose. The food in the café was delicious. Sanitary facilities reasonably clean but very old and run-down (fallen tiles, broken dryer) and a long walk away. £35 is not reasonable. Pitches are sloping and fairly large. Bar closed. The location earns 3 points—amazing views from the café and wonderful hiking trails.✦Translating

Great location for the ferry! Beautiful, well-maintained site. Reservation by phone! Price typical for Great Britain (£70 including 2 people for 2 days), and with the view, though only from the café, completely okay. Sanitary facilities old but clean! Folkestone is easily reachable on foot and we enjoyed the harbor. Many nice places to eat and drink! No drive-over gray-water disposal.✦Translating

Excellent location, sanitary facilities old but clean, very friendly staff, booking unfortunately only possible by phone. The walk to the harbor takes 30 minutes and is quite steep. A taxi back costs £7.✦Translating

You are clearly paying for the location near the beach and the ferry to Dover. The site is very average but very expensive. Since it was full, we stayed in an adjoining meadow in front of the campsite. The toilets there are atrocious. The beach section and access are filthy and simply unattractive. We had to pay £35 for a van with two people. Rip-off!✦Translating

This site is more than just a first or last overnight stop. The beach is easily reachable on foot, about 15 minutes away. I have my own sanitary facilities on board, so I did not use them. The café offers a beautiful view of the coast. And if you want to use the sanitary facilities, there are only a few steps, not a mountain hike. A clear recommendation from me—I would happily return.✦Translating

Handy overnight stop for the Eurotunnel. Very basic toilet facilities. The men's toilets are up a long flight of steep, narrow steps. Privacy in the ladies' showers is inadequate. It is unclear where to go on arrival. However, there are superb views from the cliff-top terrace.✦Translating
